We have a 1/2 acre on the lake. Rvs less than 28 feet are allowed. When time permits, we enjoy spending time in the evening sitting out back overlooking the lake, watching the birds feed and getting to know our guests while swapping stories. We are also ok if you are not up to visiting. We would be glad to recommend nearby hikes and paddling. We are 2 miles from the nearest grocery store. No smoking allowed on property. All children and pets must be closely supervised due to the lake and do not let them chase any of the many birds and ducks that come to feed . You may swim, fish (need a Fl. lic. if over 16) or paddle around the lake. You may borrow our canoe to explore the lake. We have good cell signal for Verizon and ATT. We have a 30 amp RV electrical hookup and request a $10 a night donation if using the electric. One free water fill up per stay with the electric fee or for water only fill is $5. You may run your generator during hours of 8am to 10 pm. We are doing a lot of renovations and adding on to the back of the house so there may be deliveries or workers arriving early in the a.m. during your stay. We sometimes take short trips while we are in Florida in the winter, so please be patient with us if it takes us a day or so to get back to you. Suggested Local Attractions: Trout lake nature center. There is some nice hiking and paddling within 1/2 hr away from home that we can tell you about. We are about 20 minutes from Mount Dora which is a great little town for shopping and antiquing and the flea market is there on the weekends. Eustis has music and events in the downtown area the first Friday evening of every month. You agree to release us (the Hosts) from any liability for any injuries to your person or any other persons in your party or pets and for any damage that may occur to your vehicles.

Being right on a small lake, our hosts treated us to their warm hospitality and an invitation to join them in their evening walk around the lake. Blue herons and egrets visited their lawn very close to our unit for great photos! Lovely setting and friendly hosts.

Ken and Diane are super people who are very enjoyable to talk to. They are so accommodating and let me borrow a 30 amp pigtail to complete my hookup during my stay. What a great, quiet neighborhood with a fantastic view. When you sit out in your lawn chair and look at the lake, you almost forget that you are in town. I've had many great stays and no bad experiences with HH, but this was one of the best. Thank you : )

Our hosts hit it out of the park. We were invited to a lake front pot luck dinner with their hiking club to be followed by a moonlit canoe paddle. Unfortunately, the wind picked up so the paddle was cancelled. We did take their canoe out the next day and had a great time. We will stay here again for sure next time we're out this way. Two blocks high in the front to level, didn't use electric or water. Quiet, comfortable, and good folks.
