If the calendar is blocked, the dates are not available. Please only inquire if you see the dates available on the calendar. The maximum to book in advance is 7 days, 1 night only. May through August are always unavailable. We have a one acre yard in which you can park in our designated area on gravel. We have an additional 4 acres of wooded hillside and open pasture which you can explore and let your dog(s) roam off leash if you desire. If you have a smaller RV, you can boondock in our pasture down our hill on a gravel road. It is more private, with no hookup available. I would recommend only Class B, vans, truck campers, or extremely small trailers, due to 1 turn in the road that is sharper than is feasible for larger trailers or buses. We have cats on the property, please make sure your pets are kind to them or are kept indoors when you are not with them. Expect deer in the yard at night, and occasionally coyotes can be heard. We have a low level of train noise which we enjoy, as the train is about 1 mile away. We have a hot tub which guests may use, but please no unattended children under 17 in the hot tub. We also have a play set with slide and swings. We have fruit trees, apples and plums, as well as blueberries and raspberries which you can graze or snack on if they are in season during your visit. Please don't completely plunder our trees or bushes, we like to share. Suggested Local Attractions:Silverwood Theme Park is about 8 minutes away, and is by far the key attraction for many visitors. We love the many lakes around us, and highly recommend hiking/walking a few trails at Farragut State Park, about 20 minutes from us. We have very near access to the forest land as well, just a few miles down the road. In Idaho you are allowed to ride ATVs and dirt bikes on the road and can reach the forest from our home quickly and a few trails accessible with a little further riding on forest roads.

House Rules
No dogs may not be off leash in the main yard, but you may take them down the hill behind our house which is also part of our property. Do not pass any gates, whether open or closed, as those lead to a neighbor's property. If we have another guest on site, please be cordial and do not disturb them unnecessarily. There is one fire pit that is shared use. Please use the gravel driveway for coming and going in your vehicle whenever possible, instead of the paved driveway.
Location
Access Road Conditions: We have a skirted driveway entrance with a full width of about 16 feet that is paved. After that there is a loop and second driveway that is gravel. The gravel driveway is about 20 feet wide and the gate is about the same. You could enter from either driveway and pull through. Note it is recommended to enter via paved entrance and loop around to the gravel. We have acreage below the main yard that can accommodate shorter rigs and is more like camping, with no hookups but does have a stone fire ring. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: parking can be next to your rig.

These hosts are such nice people, and I'm glad to have been able to stay with them. Even with the new app not working as it should, they communicated with me and approved my stay. They have an awesome driveway that is easy to maneuver around, a level area to set up on, and such a beautiful property. Only about 15 minutes from Coeur d'Alene, and I went into town each day after work and explored. Thank you guys so much! Best wishes for your own travels, and maybe we will cross paths again!

Lovely family and peaceful location. It was nice to have 50 amps so we could run our fireplace in the evening. We are a 35' 5th wheel and we fit perfect next to the white building. We had a pretty view of trees. We walked to the field area in the back of the property where only small rigs could make the drive. What a beautiful setting! It feels like you are all alone in the middle of nowhere. (I was slightly jealous of smaller rigs at that moment). I highly recommend this location.

We only stayed one night but the meadow behind their home is a beautiful spot to spend sometime.

Thanks for making the efforts in sharing your little piece of paradise with fellow campers. Your family is very nice and you are so thoughtful of other RVers. The long level gravel drive afforded us with all the space needed to pull in with our Toad connected, slideouts extended, and to pull through in the morning still connected up. It was a nice drive from there through Troy and Kalispell to Flathead Lake today. Thanks again and all the best to you two and the kids!

Talking with the locals of any area is a joy for us, but we seem to have a special love for Idaho folk. After almost 3 years of full time RV life we are looking to settle down a little in this land of mountains, big lakes, and trees. Now at least we got to know a little bit about one great young Christian family in this neck of the woods whereas we knew no one before and that gives us hope during this kinda scary transition time. Thanks so much for the welcome!
