Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostNo arrivals after dark! No exceptions!! This is a dark sky rural location making it very difficult to back in in the dark.
I DO NOT WEAR A MASK!
We have room for two RV's,one can be up to 40 ft. The other is 30 ft.
Nothing fancy we are a in a very rural spot. Gravel level spot with great views. If you are pulling a TT you will need to back in from road.We can guide you. Class A MH is pull in a little tight but can be done as I have a 40 ft rig that I do it with. We border the BLM so there is lots of area to hike bike and ride your ATV.
It is very quiet with few houses in the area.
Please note: No arrivals after dark. This is a dark sky location and it is too difficult to get in in the dark.
Please DO NOT make a reservation with me unless you are sure you intend to keep it! There have been too many last minute cancellations and this hurts others who may need a place to stay.
Please Please note. If you make a reservation to stay at my place for more than one night you need to keep the reservation or lose the next night. I have a very busy location during the winter months and if you reserve a night then cancel you deprive someone else of having a spot.
No outdoor radios or TV's We prefer quiet.
No pets left out overnight or unattended. Sorry campfires are too risky.
No smoking on property
No generators.

If you know that your dog barks when you leave it alone in your rig and go off for the day, please don’t leave it alone in your rig.
1/4 mile of maintained dirt road. Please drive slow. No after dark arrivals.
You will need to unhook tow vehicle and park it separate. We have plenty of room for that.
I will not be available to host Jan.19th, through Feb.14th. 2021.
Safe travels
Andy
Las Cruces and El Paso are both just a 20 min. drive. Lots of hiking in both areas. We can guide you in the direction of some really nice things to see and some awesome Mexican food!
Andy101 is a fellow NYer living in NM, so we had a lot to talk about. High energy, helpful and full of knowledge. Great starry sky at night!! Would stay again.
This was our first stay as new members of BW. We were welcomed with such warmth and kindness, We would most certainly stay with this host again if we are back in this area. Never, ever did we feel like strangers, but more like family. Thank you!
A bit off the beaten path of I-10 reveals this beautiful location in the New Mexico desert. Be sure to get up early for a spectacular sunrise. Wonderful host and very accommodating.
Andy is awesome and we are so happy to have stayed here. Good hookups, great conversations, and quite nights make this a perfect spot. Our kids loved his cat and dog (ok the adults did too). Not only would I recommend this spot for other BW campers, I will bend/change our route to stop by again.
Only a few miles off the main road but Andy's place feels like it's far out in the desert. The host is genial guy with great information about the area.
We only spent one night but felt very well cared for.
Andy101USA is warm and inviting, we always choose his place when we’re in the area.
El Rancho Seguro is a wonderful, restful spot. Andy's large property is in a very scenic rural area with beautiful mountain views, yet still convenient to Las Cruces and El Paso. Andy was a gracious host, available if we needed anything but also gave us our privacy. We hope to stay here again. Thank you, Andy!
Andy is the greatest guy, he’s really lived and has the stories to prove it. Visiting here guarantees laughs and a great time.
Andy is a a wonderful host. Had a great conversation at this peaceful quiet home. Will stay again if out that way. Our 13 lb pup had a good time playing with his big friendly dog.
Andy101usa was very accommodating and kind. He is very knowledgeable about the beautiful area. Very quiet and lovely location. Enjoyed our lively conversation and found we have much in common! So nice of him to invite our sons to swim in his pool. Loved our stay here and hope we can meet up again!
Andy101usa was very accommodating and very knowledgeable about the beautiful surrounding landscape. Very quiet location. It was fun to get to know him and discuss the many things we have in common.
We had the best time at andy101usa. Shared a Beautiful New Mexico sunrise and wonderful conversations while practicing our social distancing. Look forward to coming back when we can visit more. Had a fabulous time!
Very Accommodating and Helpful.Beautiful location . Made us feel comfortable.
Would definitely go back.
Great host, great views, great pets, great sleep. 5 stars. Thanks Andy. Hope to see you again. 😃
It’s my third visit and I’m always so happy to be here. Beautiful and peaceful place and such a welcoming host !
Great experience with Andy at his home located not far from 10 but in a beautiful scenic location. He met us at the end of the drive and helped us get situated. Had good conversation and a very pleasant stay. He is a wealth of information about interesting places to go and things to see. Want to go back when we have more time to stay.
Our first experience with Boondockers Welcome and it couldn’t have gone better. Andy was a wonderful, warm generous host. We had water & Elec hook ups if needed.
We were invited to join him and his equally lovely partner and a fellow Boondocker for dinner. Had lovely chats with Andy both nights we stayed. Highly recommend.
Andy was a great host. Upon arrival i was invited to a spaghetti dinner Andy had prepared!
Nice fenced backyard for Bandit to play with Buddy. Nice stay, would do again!
Thanks Andy
We had some lively conversation, and a quiet nights stay at Rancho Seguro.....Thanks so much for the lovely level spot to over night.... and thanks for being part of the "Boondockers Welcome Family"

Good communication prior to arrival, gracious host met us upon arrival and directed us to our serviced spot. Good knowledgeable local and regional information, shared by host. We also spent a couple of enjoyable hours repairing our fridge door in his shop! Pleasant relaxing stay! Thanks
Very awesome quiet and peaceful. Host was very accommodating and great conversationalist. Recommend some great hikes. Thanks
We enjoyed our rather short visit and would love to return again, esp. with some wonderfully clear blue skies!
Our host is easy to talk with and a great conversationalist! We very much enjoyed our time together!
The place is easy to find and not too far off I-10.
For those of you with a fifth-wheel or TT, the host is an experienced CDL driver and will be able to get you in where you need to go. He is quite good at it!
We had a great experience here! The property is amazing and the stars and sunset/sunrise are beautiful! The host was very welcoming and even showed us a cool local Mexican spot for dinner that was great! Very nice stay!
Great host and mountain views! Host was very helpful getting our camper situated. Our dogs loved it!
Andy welcomed us very very nice, it was really a very warm hospitality. He invited us to his house so we could seat and have dinner together that he cooked. We had some good conversations about life, travel, politics... His place is quiet and clean, there is electricity and water, and he helped me to wash my RV. Thank you very much Andy, We hope some day we will meet you in Israel. Anat and Ilan Sternberg.
Great location
Very welcoming host and easy to find. Great place to "hunker down" since it snowed overnight!
We had a wonderful visit with Buddy, Orange and Andy. Great conversations and help with our travel adventures. Our host Guided us to a National Park trail that was challenging and beautiful, right in the local area. We hope to be able to boondock again soon with him.
I really enjoyed my stay here.
The host was very welcoming and easy going to talk to.
We had a lot in common in a lot of areas.
My dog Rex enjoyed playing with the hosts dog Buddy. I would like to come back if my travels take me here.
A great guy, quick response, friendly, had a lot of talkings and his coffee is great!
Thanks for staying at your beautiful place

We stopped here for a quick overnight coming from Tucson to Dallas. Great location off I-10 and his property has incredible views. Easy to find and get to from the highway. Spot was perfectly level. He was so welcoming and we had great conversations! We are looking forward to the next time we come through this area so we can stay again and see him! Thank you for everything!
I stayed here on a cold, windy night and was welcomed by a warm hearted and very generous host. The 10 acre site provides a magnificent view of the desert and is a quiet refuge from too many miles driving on Route 10. I wish I had more time to stay and hope I can return because this is just a perfect Boondockers Welcome site.
This is our second time staying at andy101usa's property. The property has lots of room and this time we shared his lot with another Class C. We backed our travel trailer into his driveway and the area where we parked was level.
We didn't even need to disconnect from our truck. The host is so generous and it was great to catch up with him and exchange stories.
Andy net us at the driveway and directed us in. Surrounded by mountains but not far from main highway. He was the perfect host
Got set up last minute on a great little spot on the property. Nice remote place for stargazing and friendly animals!
Andy was a great host to my husband and I. We got in a little later than expected and he was completely accommodating. He guided us in to the spot on his property. We also had some good conversation and he gave some awesome recommendations. A little off the beaten path but so worth it to see the NM farmlands, also a beautiful sunrise over the mountains in plain view from the property.
I would 10/10 recommend this spot.
Thank you! You’re great
Such a great host and area! Host was very knowledgeable about rvs and taught me a lot, as a newbie, it was so helpful! So friendly and generous, I felt like we were old friends. Will stay here again.... multiple times!
The hosts were very nice with us we were able to have nice conversations with them.
The location is beautiful, quiet and secured with a very nice view around!
They allowed us to fill up the fresh water tank and the terrain is nice and level.
We were supposed to be there for one night but we felt so good with the host, we decided to stay an extra night.
We had very goods travel recommendations from our host, where to go and what to try.
Thank you Andy101usa!
The host was by far the best experience first Boondockers Experience we could have experienced! The host, shared a meal, shared a swim and lets us stay a few more days to get a couple of things together in our rig. If you are going to pass through Las Cruces or El Paso...go ahead a put this location of your stop.
Friendly, welcoming host. Pleasant, quiet overnight stay on our long trip.
Very gracious, friendly host. We had a nice quiet overnight rest here.
We were fortunate to stay overnight at this location on our way to Texas. The host personally guided us into our spot, and had an extension cord ready. It is a level and quiet area that allowed for a good nights sleep. We would highly recommend this site.
Extremely gracious host and accepted our last minute request. Really enjoyed the desert location and stargazing.
Fine and level spot in the desert. Had nice talks with friendly and hospitable BDhost.
We can recommend him to every BDguest.
Andy is super. He introduced us to the famous Rosa's Cantina where we had a delicious mexican meal and heard the theme song played by a live musician. Great place to stop on our way to Austin, TX We look forward to another stay as we travel to Austin frequently.
After we parked, the host helped us with ideas to explore Las Cruces and El Paso.
One of the sites that we have never known about was Rosa’s Cantina. Reference: the song El Paso by Marty Robbins.
Our host explained that the host site is in the New Mexico badlands as mentioned in the song.
Our host was available to talk and share life stories and tales from the trails.
Thanks for a great stay.
beautiful place in the desert! Breathtaking sunrise and sunset, with a host who knows the area very well !!
Thank you Andy
Andy has a beautiful high desert property and is a helpful host. A very friendly cat and sweet dog will also greet you when you come to El Rancho Seguro. Well worth the road up to get there!!
andy101usa was our first Boondockers Welcome host and could not have been more hospitable. We were welcomed on arrival. He backed our rig into the space more competently than we could have done. He was always ready for a chat on any topic, and gave detailed advice on places to visit in his and neighbouring states. An extra night? "Of course."
Does it get any better? What a wonderful host!
Over the phone we had the feeling Andy would be a friendly welcoming guy and on arrival we were certainly made to feel very welcome. We dined together both nights, good music, good food, lots of local information and great company. Buddy, Andy’s dog was a big softy and very lovable. Highly recommend this spot. Close to Las Cruces. All round good stay. Thanks Andy
Andy is an awesome host! He parked us next to his house on a level site that offered much protection from the strong winds that hit NM during our stay. He provided great insight to the local area that was much appreciated. We enjoyed many conversations with Andy and now refer to him as a friend. Hope we are able to cross paths again.
A little off the beaten path but a great way to see the local flavor. Andy very accommodating and happy to help. I had a Texas size head cold and was left to rest and the peacefulness was wonderful! Thank you again Andy.
Andy is such a dedicated host ! Always making sure you have a great stay and also very helpful with rig problem ! I’m considering him as a real friend and look forward to see him again !
Andy was our first host ever at the boondockerswelcome club !!
And we picked one of the best - for sure....👍
We had a great time and hope to meet again at his place or at one of his boondocking stops !
New friend for sure .....

This is my second stay and it was again an incredible experience! Andy is so present and helpful and makes you feel like part of the familly! Thanks again for everything!
Andy was terrific and property is great hope we can stay there again
Second stay here and enjoyed it as much as the first time. Like visiting an old friend. Great stories and ate at a recommended restaurant.
We enjoyed our brief 2 night stay at Andy's residence. He graciously guided us into one of a few RV spots and stopped in to chat about our journeys and share some advice. We are very grateful for his hospitality and generosity.
We had a short stay here. Andy was very helpful in getting us into his spot. Located a few miles out of town and some country road travel involved. Nice and quiet country spot.
Andy treats us like family and makes sure we are safe and comfortable. What an awesome host!
This proved to be a great spot to lay over for a night. We did not get to visit to much with andy101 but the little we did was pleasant. He’s a very friendly guy and must be committed to Boondocker because he had two other RV’s at the same time we were there. Aside from a bad wind storm reducing visibility the views were awesome. We would not hesitate to stop here again if in the area. Thanks a bunch andy101usa.
We had a good time with Andy and his dog, Buddy, is so lovely. We shared our supper, stories, travel experiences and tips. Our night was peaceful and quiet and you can see the city lights of El Paso further on the mountain, it's beautiful. We would stay here again.
Andy couldn't have been nicer. Spent a lot of time with him and had very interesting conversations. Hope we get to see him again at his house or at our house. Our dogs got along well too.
Nice stopover between Las Crusis and El Paso. Dog friendly with plenty of room for them to run.
Thanks Andy
Andy is a wonderful warm host. Staying here is like staying at my new best friend's place.
We all had a great time with our host, he’s super friendly, and was very gracious to our family. We enjoyed sharing food and even a small road trip together. We will definitely be back when we come around this way again.
Grand time, provided with suggestions of things of intrest in the area. Felt relaxed and will put on my favorites list.
Andy was a wonderful host. Gave us lots of information for things to do around Las Cruces. He took us to a local Mexican Restaurant for supper. Excellent food and friendly service. Would gladly stay with this host again. Thanks again Andy!
Andy was a generous host and we enjoyed chatting with him. Gorgeous views as well as a quiet night sleep
We came for a night and left with a new friend. Andy is such a great host. We truly enjoyed his company and shared many laughs. The property has breathtaking views. Highly recommended!
This was my first Boondockers Welcome stay, and it couldn’t have been better! Andy is wonderfully personable — and fun. When we went to dinner, his favorite restaurant was unexpectedly closed, so we went to his second-favorite, which was excellent. The views from his home, and the night sky with so many stars (and the Milky Way too) were astounding. He’s an animal lover too, BTW, but he’ll make sure you have as little or as much to do with his dog and cat as is appropriate for you. Would I stay again? Absolutely!!!
What a great place to visit. Andy is a great Host and is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. Knows about the best restaurants as well. We stayed an extra day and were tempted to stay longer. Our thanks to Andy for everything he did for us.
Andy was very friendly and welcoming of his property and home. His dog was also very friendly and welcoming of my little pup! Thank you Andy for my first stay with boondockers being such a positive one. I may be back to visit again! :)
Andy has a beautiful place with breathtaking views of the Organ Mountains, along with great hospitality! Make sure you visit Chope’s for some tacos!
Andy and Buddy (his rescue dog) were very gracious hosts and made us very welcome...even after our last-minute change in plans and request to stay at his awesome New Mexico location. We arrived just around dinner time so Andy drove us to a local restaurant specializing in authentic Mexican food. Andy is a regular at this long-time family restaurant as he was well known to the staff to the point that we were treated royally. If you are in the area, don't miss this one!!
It’s too bad Boondockers Welcome doesn’t have a choice for Super Host. If so Andy01usa would be marked as that!! He was very knowledgeable about the area and had great suggestions on places to see and visit! If you’re coming to the area we highly recommend you reach out to Andy101usa. We now have a new friend in New Mexico!
In spite rain and mud, we were happy to take shelter from the inclement weather with Andy who went out of his way to make sure we set up for a pleasurable hospitable stay. Next day's bonus was to see the desert breaking into bloom from the rain.
Andy gave us great directions, met us at his driveway and helped me back in.
This was a great stop, our Boxer Stella had a great time with Buddy, Andy's dog. We went out to dinner with Andy and another Boondocker at a local Mexican restaurant. His place has a fantastic view.
Andy and I hit it off. We have lots of things in common politically and personally.
Andy is a very attentive and welcoming person ! I loved my stay and would go back anytime!
Andy greeted us with a big smile, making us and our dog feel immediately welcome and comfortable. He guided us in and helped us hook up to both electric and water - both so nice to have when boondocking. He had lots of ideas for hikes and things to do in the area, as well as information about the Las Cruces and El Paso area in general. His sweet dog Buddy and our Millie had a great time playing tag together - though Millie was never able to catch spry Buddy - she had a great time anyway. Thanks Andy for a wonderful stay - we may see you again on our way back west!
Andy was a lovely host. My husband and I arrived exhausted after two long days of driving and each of us battling a cold. Andy graciously offered us an extra night stay so we could rest and get better. His property is very peaceful. It was just what we needed!
Andrew is very welcoming and he is a great person . We really enjoyed our stay.
We had a wonderful experience staying at this location. We used there 15 amp electric on the coldest night of our fulltime adventure so far. Their property was easy to park our 30' travel trailer and level. The hosts were friendly and we greatly enjoyed our conversations. We hope to see them again in the near future.
Andy and Laura were the penultimate, generous hosts. They were exceptionally welcoming, and Andy has an unbounded knowledge of the local cultural, business, and historical elements around the area. Their property is so quiet! Do not be discouraged by the lefts and rights your GPS is going to ask you to make. The property is outside of Las Cruces by maybe 15 miles. But, it is located in the most beautiful pecan-growing countryside we have encountered.
We look forward to another trip where we can spend more time exchanging stories about our combined life experiences. You will enjoy learning about Andy's passion for entrepreneurship and the range of business experiences comprising his background.
Very friendly hosts, it was like visiting with old friends. We shared dinner and company and enjoyed a quiet night filled with stars.
We had so much fun with Andy and Laura. Andy has enough stories and advice to keep you entertained for a lifetime, and Laura is so sweet and easy to talk to. We got the full New Mexico experience, complete with road runners, bunnies, giant rabbits, red chili chicken, homemade ribs, and desert exploration. And the view of the mountains is incredible! This couple is both hilarious and hospitable, and we would love to stay with them again in the future. They went from boondocking hosts to friends in such a short amount of time. Don’t pass this place up!
We're not too sure about the cats but Andy, Laura & Buddy are among the most friendly critters we've met in the USA. We arrived as strangers but parted as friends. From the first hug when we arrived both Andy & Laura made us feel right at home. Andy especially is full of life and the four of us had plenty to discuss. They are full of travel tips. Don't miss City of Rocks SP. We hope that we can meet up again ... Andy, Australia is not that far. Thanks again for the hospitality.
