Our place is located in a middle of hunting club access to our place usually okay but can have big to small pot holes when coming to our home. Very quiet, nice walks down our driveway if you like. DO NOT FOLLOW GPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Slide out possible depending on how far your plug cord will reach the plug hook up. Our water hook up is well water we do not drink it but do as you like.
Slide out questionable? Well just have to ask and also need to see if we are home since we travel much in summer time and sometime on weekends and spring break.
DO NOT FOLLOW GPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DO NOT FOLLOW GPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are located in a hunting club and I mean in the woodddds. 4 miles off hwy. Will have to give directions GPS takes you the wrong way to roads not travel-able. Road for about 4 miles is rock and dirt. Depending on activity of travel from hunting club members and time of year and weather the dirt roads can become very muddy and some minor to major pot holes. Can let you know if worth stopping at our place if you email the day before or call. When boon-docking will have to turn around your rig to park next to Mobile home. To view our roads and our homestead please visit Young at Heart Adventures on YouTube. The link is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1xrn3ZuM4I when they did a video of their boon docking experience at Blue Lagoon Acres. About 4:36 seconds is when you start seeing their journey to our place. Join their channel a lot of good information about traveling.
Can unhitch TV and park on side of carport
Just depends we camp a lot on weekends too. We are hit and miss since we work in the school systems.
An hour or less to downtown Charleston, SC, 30 minutes from Blacks Camp located in Cross, SC about of mile from boat access to Lake Moultrie.
Beautiful location! Super sweet hosts! Very secluded and quiet! Truly enjoyed our 2 nights here close to Charleston! Will visit again! Thank you!
Due to the heavy traffic on the 4th of July weekend we arrived early evening. We had a short but great conversation with the hosts. They were very accommodating and friendly. We talked as if we were old friends. Our dogs loved the open range running. My advice is to follow their directions to the letter as the location is remote but well worth the drive.
Perfect night in a very quiet nurture lot. Michelle was so nice and no outley too much to get us on electricity. Thanks again for accommodate us and hosting us so well. We are coming back with pleasure should we are back in the area.
Welcoming hosts who are friendly, conversational and helpful. Enjoyed our conversations. This is a beautiful property with a nice view of their horses and acreage. Property has wildlife with some deer grazing and friendly dogs. Good access to Charleston. If we are in the area we would love to stay here again.
Our hosts were so generous to allow us to stay a few extra nights. If you are looking for something fun to do close by then I suggest Santee Canal Park. It is a hidden treasure.
Thanks for being great hosts Bluelagoonacres.
Our stay at bluelagoonacres was great. We came in a day late due to mechanical issues but our hosts were understanding. When we did arrive (get directions from host, not GPS), our hosts weren't home but we were in contact with them. They gave us thorough information about parking, hooking up, etc. Communication has been the best!
The roads were pretty bumpy but we managed.
Blue lagoon acres is a peaceful place way back in the woods. We seen a variety of wildlife while to traveling to and from town. We absolutely recommend staying here.
We enjoyed the staying at Blue Lagoon Acres as an overnight stay on our way to Florida! Michelle was very accommodating and friendly... they had electric, water and even sewer available (we didn't need)... as well as free WIFI connection.
Their location is very remote on a large property with 2 horses, about 45 minutes from Charleston, SC.
The drive back to the location is a bit challenging, about a 3 mile dirt road... so depending on your rig and whether or not there has been a lot of rain, you may want to consider this when booking a reservation.
This was our first stay with boondockers welcome and we were very pleased!
My hosts were delightful and extremely accommodating. They even installed a power pole and water spigot just for their Boondockers Welcome guests! They are really tucked back in the middle of nowhere, and it is quiet and peaceful at night. Just lovely to watch the deer in the front yard. Sure, it is off the beaten track and you have to drive a ways to get there, but it is worth it if you want a nice quiet, secluded stay. I would certainly not hesitate to return.
My thanks to Blue Lagoon Acres for a much needed rest stop. My hosts were wonderful making sure I was settled and that I had everything I needed. If you visit this location trust the directions they give you, not your GPS.
