Location

Access Road Conditions: We are located in a hunting club and I mean in the woodddds. 4 miles off hwy. Will have to give directions GPS takes you the wrong way to roads not travelable. The road for about 4 miles is rock and dirt. Depending on the activity of travel from hunting club members and time of year and weather the dirt roads can become very muddy and some minor to major potholes. Can let you know if worth stopping at our place if you email the day before or call. When boon-docking will have to turn around your rig to park next to the Mobile home. To view our roads and our homestead please visit Young at Heart Adventures on YouTube. The link is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1xrn3ZuM4I when they did a video of their boondocking experience at Blue Lagoon Acres. About 4:36 seconds is when you start seeing their journey to our place. Join their channel a lot of good information about traveling. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Can unhitch TV and park on side of the carport

We had a very peaceful night here. Entrance road was a little muddy but nothing compared to some of the roads we encountered in Canada!

A big thank you to our host for this most pleasant boondocking place. She is welcoming and eager to give you all the information you need for an enjoyable moment at Blue Lagoon Acres. You're in the countryside so it is very quiet. You have the company of a peacock and a horse that will make you smile.

Host provided excellent directions which one is well advised to follow! Electric was available and welcomed to have a bit of AC going before the evening cooled down. Fascinating to observe a semi wild peacock hanging around, (does not belong to the host). Five stars except for access as it is reached via some narrow unimproved roads, though I had no problems with a smallish towed RV. I encountered not traffic at all.

Host was great at giving easy to follow directions when GPS was taking us to the wrong location. Roads where fine. Quiet and peaceful location. Level parking and easy hookup.

The three plus miles of dirt road were certainly worth it! Truly out in the woods; only the peacock made any loud noises and not many of those. A bit of a drive to the sights of Charleston but a wonderful place to stay.
