What a wonderful stay! Great friendly hosts and the nicest people we've ever met. Very quick contact after we requested a stay and was super nice and helpful. We were also inspired to start a new Boondockers tradition and we inquired about the hosts favorite food spot and visited it, and brought back a gift certificate for the host as a gift for our accommodations. Will remember this family for life as they were so kind to us and inspiring. It's so nice to meet people so in love with the outdoors and how to share that with family and complete strangers.
An absolutely special place to visit! Host is very good people, and very accommodating. You can not/will not find a better prepared “back to nature” spot in which to rejuvenate.
A note to those considering a visit…as the host states it is a seasonal access road. It’s got a fairly significant degree of climb to it. The hosts rig, like our own is sizable. Some of you with smaller rigs, lower ground clearances, no four by four, might want to think twice!
We’ll definitely be going back!
This is our third Boondockers Welcome, and so far our favorite. It's the kind of setup we hope to have on our own home base some day.
We will definitely come here again!
We had a great overnight stay at Muddy Acres. Because of a technical problem with my cell, I was unable to contact our host the day of our arrival. Gt08vapor is very generous to share this remote camping spot with his BW guest. In spite of a rainy evening, we did not experience the mud of muddy acres. We had a quiet, peaceful night and thank the host for his generosity.
Our host helped make our stay overnight very nice. We made a fire and watched the stars. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thank you.
It's hard to find words that describe how great this couple where!! They were very very generous with everything they had. They let us use there land and also helped us find out where the cool campgrounds were. After that me and the owner road there Atvs and brought our kids to let them pet horses! We also sat by the fire and talk about our lives. It was an incredible experence and look forward to maybe meeting up with them in the future. I would highly recommend anybody to stay with them!
