We will not be accepting guests for a while. We are repairing our farm equipment. The shop is about 200 feet from the camping area and guests would not like all the noise and commotion, especially since we often start working at 5:00 am or earlier.

I have stayed here a few times and always loved and enjoyed the stay! It was one of my very first stops on my journey and I always requested a stay when I passed through the area. I was sad to see that they are no longer offering stays. I agree 100% with the host's message regarding the HH and BW merger. It is difficult to see BW phase out. HH recommends an ever increasing payment recommendation to HH stays to the point where very few are worth bothering with as you might as well stay at a campground. I have been shocked at how some HH stays practically march you into the stores or make you feel guilty for not buying more and more items. Some charge exorbitant prices for any amenities they might have. The demise of BW is sad to see because the spirit of sharing and not expecting payments in return was such a wonderful experience that are now few and far between. I do hope that Emerald Oaks Farm will start allowing stays again in the future. ♥

This is our favorite stop with HH/BW. Big open sky and marvelous expanse of stars at night. Our hosts are wonderful people who share this peaceful and quiet bit of rural Florida.

This is probably our favorite HH ever. Park right next to the pond and enjoy the peacefulness of the place. The road leading in is the prettiest view you can imagine We will always choose to stay here when we come to Florida!
