The location is our forecourt with gravel. It is level. Best way is to park the RV backwards which makes leaving very easy. Many details (advice how to position, where power, water and dump are located) will be send in a document as soon as the reservation is made.
As our property is close to our neighbor, guests are requested to behave "respectful"
No smoking on property; No generators.
Be respectful to neighbors living close to our property.
Approaching the entrance road needs a sharp curve. Especially arriving from the east side it's hard to make the curve without touching a tree on the pedestrian way. If arriving from the east side (airport) we recommend to continue until next roundabout (400m) and return from the other side of the road which leaves you to use a more spacey curve without the hassle of "tree in the curve". This is the easy way we enter ourselves as well.
Continue the entrance road (gravel) until the end and find the parking area. As soon as a stay is booked we will send you some details by a document with pictures.
Also the curve onto the forecourt might be too sharp to accommodate long tow vehicles.
From May 1st, 2018 to October 20, 2018 we will be traveling in the USA and thus not available. In case we agree your stay during our absence, pls consider that some service might not be available.
Bergerac itself is rather touristic (esp. in summer). Lots of restaurants and terraces. You are invited to enjoy this in the French way, i.e. go for lunch rather than dinner. During the week pricing of lunches are appreciated. Visit the town center, the wine and tobacco museum. Visit the vineyards and chateaux in the area and make a boat trip on the Dordogne river.
Bedankt.
It was nice to meet our old "Boondockers" friends again. Now not in the USA but at their home in France. It was wonderful to share stories together while enjoying a good glass of wine and of course French cheese. We have again received advices for our next trip in 2020 by Canada and the USA. They are very hospitable hosts that speak a lot of languages such as Dutch, English, French and German. Thanks.
