Superior time relaxing and enjoying beautiful weather and an enjoyable evening just chatting and playing bean toss. This is a full 5 star adventure.
The barn yard was a great place to stay! Beautiful views and nice level parking spot. Pack and Play were very kind and friendly. Hosts. They allowed to plug in to 15 amp power in their barn to run our fridge. They also had a big campfire and invited us to join them. It was a lovely night with a bright moon, lots of stars, and great conversation! Thanks so much for hosting us!
The facility and location are wonderful...beautifully maintained. Nice cool breeze, swimming pond, mowed walking trail, water & electric hookups. Great views of sunrises, sunsets and stargazing.
The hosts are fabulous... so friendly and not intrusive. And YES we were blessed to enjoy smores with our hosts. We hope to return someday.
Very nice hosts and visit. Treated to a nice bonfire with s'mores and morning coffee. Hosts have interesting travel stories. If in the area we would stay again. Recommend.
Our host made us feel welcomed the minute we pulled into the driveway. They guided us to our spot and made sure we had everything we needed. A walk to the bee hives and s’mores around the campfire with some good conversation completed our evening. In the morning we were greeted with some fresh coffee as we watched the sun rise and listened to the roosters, in the distance, crow in the new morning. This is a beautiful piece of property and a friendly couple. We highly recommend this stop.
Such pleasant people! Thank you for the conversation, s’mores and light show lol
Highly recommend this beautiful farm and these lovely folks!
Very gracious hosts with a beautiful farmland setting that you almost don't want to leave once you're there.
Never mind it's a few miles off the beaten path, that is the absolute beauty of this location!
I altered my travel plans so I could stay until noon the morning after my awesome nights' sleep. Watching the bluebirds, robins & cardinals feeding just outside my windshield was an added bonus. Well, the real reason to extend my morning was because it was peaceful, beautiful & hard to leave!
Although the owners proclaim to be retired, they work daylight to dark keeping this huge farm manicured. They are welcoming and interesting! To top it off, they offer electricity & water to Boondockers.
Oh we loved these hosts... and their ‘barn yard’. Very enjoyable... and relaxing... with phenomenal views of the rolling hills and pastures of the lower Ozarks. We parked on a hilltop and could have had water and 15 amp had we needed. Secluded feel with a great 360 view. You can stroll their 40 acres and admire the beehives and southern Missouri countryside. Oh yes, we would stay here again and only hope they make it to our place so we can return the gesture. Oh, and the road we took to get there was a gift of itself - a 9 mile rollercoaster through the Ozark countryside. A lil bit scary but once you’re done, totally exhilarating leaving you wanting to do it again. 30’ Class C with a toad and no problem at all! You’ll be glad you chose the ‘Barn Yard’.
My stay at the barnyard with Pack and Play was very nice They greeted us warmly when we arrived. They were very kind and allowed us to walk down to see their honey bee hives. The scenery of all the nearby farms is very nice. I highly recommend these hosts!
We stayed at the barnyard while traveling with one other rig. It is a beautiful location on their property with plenty of space for parking. They had a nice walking path that led to their beehives about a quarter-mile from the site. Be sure to purchase a jar of their delicious honey!
Had a great stay at the Barn Yard. Hosts were great and very accommodating. Enjoyed the property and the surroundings--as well as the hosts!
