Near nature areas for walking, canoeing, fishing (with MS fishing license), hiking, biking (on and off road).
Property was ready to find. John is doing work on the property so it is a bit tough to arrive and turn a car and take around, but we were successful. The location is great for hiking and exploring the area.
This was our first time using our membership and we couldn’t have been more delighted. John & Bridget are friendly, gracious, and extremely helpful hosts! We got in after dark and they came out and helped us get setup for the night. In the morning John helped us get turned around and even fixed a broken light on our U-Haul tow dolly!! We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and the drive down Nachez Trace is gorgeous to boot! Can’t wait till we pass through next time to stay again.
Thanks for everything folks! Best wishes and safe travels,
April, Jenn, and the kids
Fantastic location less than a quarter mile of the Natchez Trace. Quiet rural area in the woods. The hosts have setup a spot for multiple RV's with power and water on gravel. We spent one night but thoroughly enjoyed the spot and the generous hospitality and conversation. The approach is a bit narrow so longer trailers may need to adjust a few times but the road is not busy.
John was very accommodating despite the rains. We came late and left early. Site is primitive and while electric and water are available, standing water prohibited us from connecting. Will be a nice stop once they progress with their project.
We arrived a little later than planned and John and Bridget took the time to welcome us. The are great hosts and helped us set up our rig in the Dark. They have a very nice property! Thank again, hoping to see you in Canada!
We were very impressed with the communication skills our hosts displayed in offering their hospitality. The location is fantastic, just off the Natchez Trace, and they even offered electric and water hookups. We passed like ships in the night, never meeting face to face, but really wish we could have met our hosts for the evening! Thanks again for the respite!
What a beautiful spot to take a break for the night. Our hosts were so incredibly kind and generous- To the point we felt guilty. I have heard of Southern hospitality but had never experienced it. That saying comes to mind, you may forget things people say but you never forget the way a person makes you feel. Their warmth and generosity is humbling. What a treat to meet people like our hosts. Sure hope we get to return the favour one day.

The Hatchpad couple were great hosts.
They are in an amazing location right off the Natchez Trace Parkway, which must be driven, biked and hiked to believe. We were made to feel very welcome, from being personally guided into out parking space (which had 30 amp electric and water) to having a large doormat placed outside our entry door to keep the dirt off our shoes!
Unfortunately due to their busy schedules we didn't have a chance to "chew the fat" as much as we would have liked to.
Do yourself a favor and visit these folks, you won't be disappointed.
