Their place is well situated for any size rv. The kids loved running the dog around and looking at all the farm animals. Bill and Linda were amazing hosts, we enjoyed getting to know them over a couple glasses of wine. Really recommend this place to anyone!
Traveler52 were great hosts. This was our first Boondockers Welcome stay, they were very patient with us and very kind. Nice place. Thank you for making our stay welcomed.
Our Remington Ranch hosts were very amiable and provided us with a large, very level site to park our Airstream. We were located within 30 minutes of Coeur d’Laine and Sandpoint. There were more restaurants than we could count! This is an excellent Boondockers Welcome location.
This was our first stay with boondockers welcome. Bill and Kathy are so kind and hospitable and their property is beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed not only meeting them, but getting the opportunity to meet their friends and neighbors as well. The area is so welcoming, and everyone is so kind. Having electric and water hook up is icing on the cake. We would definitely stay again! We are so grateful to have had this opportunity.
Our stay with our hosts was so delightful. We appreciated the power AND water plus some afternoon shade. We enjoyed our evening visit learning more about their choice to move to rural Idaho. We got even got our dog fix too! We spent one day exploring nearby Farragut state park. Truly a relaxing stay!
Enjoyed our stay at Remington Ranch. Our hosts were so friendly. Their property was easy to get in and out of. We enjoyed our time chatting with the hosts and it turns out they originate from the same area we are from. It's great meeting such nice people through our travels. Looking forward to connecting with them again down the road somewhere or back at their beautiful property. Thanks again for your hospitality.
This was our 2nd boondockers welcome site and again our hosts were awesome. We spent both evenings talking at their outdoor table and we had a great meal together the second evening. The parking spot is level gravel, plenty of room, and great spot in the back with water and 30/50amp. Large fenced in property in which our dog could run, play, and have a great time barking at the cows in back. Our dog and their dog Kaluha got along fine. Great hosts and great spot on a holiday weekend when a lot of places were sold out. Thanks to our hosts!!!!
This was our first stay with Boondockers Welcome and we were very nervous. Our hosts immediately put us at ease when they waited out on the road for our arrival to direct us in. They provided a wonderful spot and generous hospitality. My kids loved to say hi to the animals and especially the host dog. Super awesome stay and hosts, we are very grateful.
Traveler52 welcomed us at the gate and, when we were set for the night, invited us to share a glass of wine. The chatter went on very pleasantly. And we must not forget Kahlua, the Labrador, who made us feel at home in her own friendly way.
We definitely recommend these hosts.
Had a great stay with Traveler52. Very welcoming, generous hosts. They even delivered a newspaper to our door each morning. Quiet, rural location.
We were trying to escape the fires and smoke in Washington and they were able to accommodate us very last minute. We are so grateful! This place was amazing, beautiful and so quiet. Our spot was perfect! Traveler52 was very welcoming and Kahlua was there to greet us with a wagging tail every morning and each time we returned. What a sweetheart! We thank Traveler52 so much for their hospitality at Remington Ranch! One of our favorite Boondockers Welcome spots so far :)
Thank you so much for hosting us at your location and welcoming us into your home. Fabulous laughs and super delicious fruit crisp! Beautiful kaluha . Next time hope not to have the super bummer leg issue. Happy Travels!
Bill and Cathy were the perfect hosts! They warmly welcomed us to a great space that was private, level, and had water and electricity. The social hour with family was like an evening sunset with old friends. We appreciate the hospitality and hope our paths cross again!
Hosts made us very welcome. Beautiful spot in a great location. Highly recommended. Thank you for hosting us.
Bill was nice, the spot was great and our kids loved playing with their dog, Kahlua. Thank you!
Traveler 52 are gracious, generous hosts. Remington Ranch was a respite from road travel and heat.
The sunset was glorious.
We had an opportunity to meet other guests and share travel stories and life.
We hope to return someday.
Thank you so much Traveler 52!
Dave, Monica and Katy Scott
Traveler52 is a super host. Very nice level site with water and electric. They are in the country so it’s quiet. Kalua is a friendly dog too especially if you have a ball to throw b
Great couple, warm and cordial. We thought we were getting just a place to boondock but were also provided 50 amp service and water! 5 acres with a mountain view and we slept like babies! Very glad to have stayed and you will too.
PS Their big ole dog Kahlua was glad to see us too!
This was a wonderful stop for us. This was our first time boondocking with anyone. The hosts were very welcoming...and Kahlua (their handsome pooch) was adorable.
Thanks for uaving us!!
This place is surrounded by unsurpassing beauty. The host are the best folks in Northern Idaho!
We had an excellent stay at Remington Ranch. The property is very easy to find and get any size rig into. Our hosts were extremely friendly and we appreciate their hospitality so much. We especially enjoyed the night we had dinner together with the hosts and other guests. It was a great to have fellowship and exchange stories over pizza and wine. We highly recommend a stay here if you're in the area!
Bill and Cathy have such a lovely, peaceful place and are so welcoming and kind. Their black lab, Kahlua, is just precious! She'll love you to death :) Our first night there they invited us to join them for a pizza supper and wine. Another boondocking family was also staying there, and we all had the best time talking about life on the road and just life in general.Good times!
If you're anywhere near Athol, ID, definitely stay at Remington Ranch if you are able. Highly recommended!
