*Currently Traveling the country. Sometimes with no cellphone coverage, or a little distracted. Sorry if we don't get back to you as soon as you need.* We are located in a "Dead End" street that is mostly commercial. (safe) Weekends are preferred. Less people (cars) around. My driveway up the hill is available but not for long rigs and it has an inclination... -It's by the train station. NOISE!. Ear plugs might be helpful. -Office hours arrivals might be complicated to maneuver around other cars. -Specially for trailers. Suggested Local Attractions: Nice Ice cream spot -walking distance. Kensico Dam Park. 👍🏼 Quiet small towns around. Plenty of parks. Along the Hudson River, scenic and historical places.

Communication was excellent from the beginning. He had written that he was not home and that it was noisy as the space was right next to the commuter train tracks. But it truly was a very dirty public parking space with a fire hydrant very close. Looking at photos from months ago, I now see that every Harvest camper was near the hydrant. Afraid we would be ticketed. Despite our having notified him of our ETA, even his steep driveway had a parked car at the top, blocking any access to where there was perhaps a chance of finding a relatively level area for our Sprinter. He had urged Harvest members to keep a low key from the neighbors, so I didn’t want to knock on the door to the house as he had written that he was traveling. So we left at 4:00pm. Notified him that we would not be staying because of screeching trains and fear of being disturbed/ticketed by police. We have been a guests of a Harvest Host at least 15 times over the last 2-3 years. Have always been very grateful- not this time.

very thankful for this spot! as other reviewers mentioned, watch for low bridges. do not take any parkways and pay attention even on highways, use middle lane to avoid sides of bridges. we are 13'1 and had one extremely close call
