My location is on one of the northern entrances to Yosemite National Park, it is 15+ acres of tall trees, Cedar, Pine, Firs, and Black Oak. Some of the natural parking areas my not be available in the winter due to excessive rain.
Generators off by 9:00 pm, no trash left on sight, no smoking, use caution with fire, use caution, this is a rural location do not leave food out that may attract them. Do not try to navigate using your phone you will get lost. Please read all the instructions for getting here and write them down because you won't be able to access the website to look them up again. Plan to arrive during daylight hours the first day, there aren't any street lights.
.5 mile road from the main road is rock/dirt mix, my driveway is rock, some parking areas are natural and some are rock.
Numerous parking locations
We are usually here on the weekends, contact first for availability. Please note that during summer months barbecue use may be restricted in some or all locations due to fire danger. Some locations may not have power or internet due to the distance from the source. Internet use is limited due to the fact that it is metered by my provider, so no movies or videos unless you check with us first. We may allow certain pets, we just don’t want confrontation or problems with our pets. The number of days for notice are flexible just contact. The power is actually 20 amp. There is a dump place about 1.5 miles from here, and grocery store, hardware store, and both Shell and Chevron both have Diesel, propane. Cell tower under construction 1 mile away, expecting full signal soon. The market is a full service market but it closes at 6pm in winter and 7pm in summer.
Yosemite National Park, Bodie State Park (my favorite), numerous lakes and rivers, gold rush towns and more.
We had two great nights visiting and meeting Aircommuters.
Their location was spectacular and so very quiet. It was a good location to be able to spend a day at Yosemite National Park.
We enjoyed the tour and getting to know Rocky and Minnie.
I hope for the best when their home is completed.
Lovely people and they live in a wonderful area. Was for us a perfect spot after visiting Yosemite NP. Thanks for staying at your Great place!

Our host has a wealth of knowledge about the area and just about anything else under the sun. We enjoyed chatting with our host as he is very friendly and interesting. We also enjoyed the peace and solitude of the property’s surrounding forest. We were grateful for the host site’s proximity to Yosemite, the ease of access and the beautiful location. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Wow, what a fabulous stop over on our way to Yosemite!!! Host offered power & water. Multiple places to overnight on this beautiful property. Cool & quiet yet convenient to a small community store. We will be back any time we are in the area! Thank you so much for your friendly hospitality!
Such a prime location with a great host.
Thanks for the tour and the services.
Sorry we had to take off so early.
This was a wonderful location while visiting Yosemite! My husband enjoyed chatting about all the work done on the property and "tinkering" being done.
We had a wonderful time in a wonderful area. The communication was very good. We wish them lots of succes finishing their house. We felt us more then welcome. Thanks for everything.
Enjoyed our ‘out of the way” stay at “Aircommuter’s! In the hills of beautiful Maripisa County.
John was very helpful with suggestions when I was in the planning stage of our trip as well as ideas where to go from here.
