We are near Markdale.
Just a few kilometres outside of town on a county road.
We have lots of room for any size rig.
No evidence of alcohol, please, and no smoking anywhere on the property.
We're about halfway between Toronto and Tobermory, where you could catch the Chicheemaun Ferry to head to the Sault.
Sorry, we cannot allow pets on the property. Service dogs only, please.
Paved County Rd.
Anytime between snow melt and snow stay.
Winter/snow season - not recommended. We live in the snow-belt, so even the smaller RVs have to use extreme caution. Always check for road closures before heading this way in the winter, or you might end up boondocking in the ditch.
We're near Markdale, which has a grocery store, nice restaurant, a hospital, several small shops, and golf courses close by.
Campfire Bible Camp is within 2 km of us.
Owen Sound is about 1/2 hour away, which has a mall, Wal-mart, Home Depot, and lots more.
Wasaga Beach is about 45 minutes away.
This was our first boondock experience. S&K were so wonderful and made sure that we had everything we needed. The hosts are so friendly and informed you of the great things to see in the local area. Their property was very secluded and relaxing which made our first experience so enjoyable. We felt that we have made new friends, and enjoyed talking about our many camping experiences that we have had over the last 40 plus years. We cannot thank S&K enough for helping us experience what Boondockers is all about. Thank you for the great weekend. SwedishBlonde
The hosts at this location were wonderful. They were both there to welcome us and to direct us into our parking place. They did everything possible to make us feel at home. It was also nice to talk to them, and to experience that we were on the same wave length in many ways. We had a wonderful evening, and we highly recommend this place. Rolie and Jacoba
