We have a properties with almost a acre of land located just on the edge of Goderich main Hyw Lake shore area. Our town is known to be 1 of the top 10 most beautiful sunset in Canada as written by National Geographic. Just a 5 minute drive to Lake Huron and 3 minute walk to any amenities you may need. LCBO, Tim Horton, Wal-Mart, Restaurants and etc. Suggested Local Attractions:There is usually a lot going on in the summer month for activities. We love taking a walk on the newly builded boardwalk down at the lake, lots of trails for walking or biking also. Farmer's Market and Flea Market every weekend. Theater, music festivals, Art's n Craft shows, Celtic festivals, movie night outside and so much more.

If you have animals we ask that you keep them on leash when around the house unless your dog obeys and stays at your side due to being close to the hyw. Please do pick up after there duties are done. Young children must be supervised at all times due to closeness to the hyw. No generators after 10:00pm We just ask that you be respectful of our property. We want you to enjoy and have fun.
Location
Access Road Conditions: Location is at the side of our paved driveway with a side gravel parking. Well packed gravel with a 10 % grade slope becoming flat. You can drive in off the main Hyw. We have our 32ft RV backed in at this spot as seen on the picture but very experienced backing up off the main highway. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Your tow vehical can be parked by your camper.

Bilingual French/English Details: My husband and I are semi retired from being self employed for the past 25 years with different businesses. As of Sept 1st 2022 we had a few changes around here. We have added a Nail Technician and I will joining again giving pedicures in my Salon. If during your travails you would enjoy any of those services please let me know in advance during your booking at are location. Will check and see what we can do. Home Town: Our home is on the edge of Goderich Ontario on a main Hwy Lake shore area. We are a 5 minute drive to our beautiful Lake Huron beach. As per National Geographic we are in the top10 most beautiful sunsets in the World. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We had the chance to travel a little to locations along Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Winter of 2017 n 2018 we spent 3 month touring around Florida. Old town, Florida would be our favorite spot to relax. Skills or Expertise to Share: We love cooking/entertaining our friends. My husband is very good with mechanic,gas,electrical,plumbing and everything else in between. I am back working part time with my Nail Technician giving pedicures in my Salon. I also enjoy oil painting.

Had a great stay with Lazy Acre. They met us as we pulled into their place and located us In a great spot for the night. They offered us to join them and another BOONDOCKER couple for cocktails and their famous poutine. We declined as we thought we would be going out but we got comfortable where we were. Had enough of driving. It wasn’t long before They popped in and got us to joint them for after poutine social. Very interesting people with lots of stories. Will definitely return and maybe poutine with be on the menu!!!

We were pleased to be able to stay at Lazy Acres for two nights. The hosts were extremely helpful . The word "Lazy" definitely does not apply to any part of this location, as they are hard workers and responsive to all our questions. Thank you!

Our Lazy Acre hosts were incredibly gracious - we actually stayed here twice for extended times as we were prepping our sailboat for launch. They frequently checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed and set up a little seating area and table for us near the area where we parked. It was a lovely place to relax for morning coffee or after a hard day working in the sun. Their dog is a hoot - and if you throw a ball or frisbee for him, he's your friend for life! Five stars+ !
