Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostWe have a large flat and paved parking space which will accomodate total lenght of about 35 feet. Our drive is sloped, but not too steep, and is paved. There are low hanging branches from a neighbors tree which we cannot trim, but vertical clearance is good for an RV no higher than about 12 feet. Anything higher may incur damage to A/C units etc
We prefer non-smokers
We are just off a busy street and somewhat hidden by trees. The drive is also not very visible from the street, so we suggest a phone call when you are in the area so we can vector you in.
There is a tree with small low hanging branches at the foot pf the drive. The verticle clearance is approx 12-15 feet. When estimating if this is adequate for your rig please do not forget to allow for any roof air units installed !
Total lenght of tow vehicle and trailer, or tow vehicle and toad should not exceed 35 feet.
Parking available on large asphalt parking pad , next to rig.
We have to temporarily suspend our hosting activities. We look forward to hosting again in the near future, but at this time it is not possible.
We hope to be 'back to normal' by the end of this year ( 2020 ). Bogie
Near to the Capitol building which offers tours, and to the Chihuli Art Glass Museum in Tacoma. Also in Tacoma are the LeMay Auto Museum and The Americas Auto Museum, as well as several natural history museums all near to one another. Only a few miles to Puget Sound for water crafting and one hours drive to either Mt St Helens or Mount Ranier. And there are several great hikes near the waterfront of varying lenghts and difficulties.
In these tough times it was nice to stay here on our rather rushed trip back to Canada. Great location and hope we can come here again to properly explore the area.
Was a very convenient spot for us for couple of days with flat area, 15 amp and water, and interesting motorcycles! Thank you for having us.
we parked or 35 ft class A. no problems.
thanks a lot
Locations was perfect for visiting my sisters friends who live near their location. Very interesting couple with 3 very sweet dogs I had the chance to meet. If you get the chance to go on the tour of the place take it :) Very cool. Hope to see you guys this winter.
Not far off the highway, but fine country style setting.
Made to feel welcome after a long day in holiday weekend traffic on the road.
Nice paved site under trees and by the garden, we settled in early for a good nights sleep.
Had a pleasant visit with our gracious hosts and their sweet dog in the morning,
then were off for another day on the road
What a lovely quiet place! A nice shade tree to park under with a nice level spot. Not to mention how inviting the host are. We happened to come at a great opportunity time, as he was in middle of I've those projects he can do by his stuff but a second set of hands is preferred. So it was great to have some time bonding in the garage. They are such a fascinating couple with so many great stories hidden. You will feel right at home. They have so many great stories to share and boy what wealth of knowledge. He helped diagnose a problem that was way easier than I originally thought it would be . Looking forward to meeting them on the road sometime soon!
Pleasant and comfortable stay, close to Olympia/Tacoma. Pretty property and very gracious host. Flexible when our schedule changed because of RV repairs.
I found Bogie to be quite fascinating in his life's accomplishments as well as openly friendly and accomodating. Meeting these hosts has been a real treat.
Really enjoyed seeing the BMW motor bikes that Kevin rebuilds! Very interesting! We had a problem with our RV that needed a repair and he recommended us to a place not far from his home. Went there the next morning and the owners went out of their way to do the repair and get us back on the road.
We never would have know about this shop had we not been staying at Bogie! Thanks so very much! Super hosts!
Apologies on my mix up of coming and going.
See you around.
We stayed just one night at Bogies Den. They have a passion for vintage motorcycles and have raced them.
we parked or 35 ft class A here while visiting my sister in DuPont. easy to pull in and turn around. as a bonus, I got to see his passion for motorbikes.
this motivated me to do the same and soon I will be hosting in Bakersfield .CA.
God Bless You Bogie
Good rv conversations with Kevin, especially liked his rig. My opinion, it was ahead of it's time.
Lots of BMW bike history here as well.
Thanks for hospitality.

Our host welcomed us warmly, and gave us a tour of his motorcycle restoration passion!!
Super friendly and accommodating! Great area not too far from Tacoma and Seattle. Cannot thank them enough for their kindness!
As our host, Bogie, on his site states, his place is off a busy street and somewhat hidden by trees, and has a driveway with low hanging branches at the foot and not very visible from the street.
We were glad to have his personal directions as the GPS wasn't the proper way to approach this address.
Once up the driveway there is so much space it is easy to manoeuvre and we had no problems driving out the next morning. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and easy to chat with. Bogie generously showed us his hobby machines- you need to go just to see what is there! Very interesting and great to learn about. Thank you for the hospitality and we recommend your site to others who may be in the area.
Fantastic host that was very laid back and kind. Their space worked out perfect for us for 2 nights and was in a great location. We visited for a while and they told us about harbor days down in Olympia. We took the kids and had a great time. I wish I were neighbors!
Hosts were very kind. Not intrusive but very welcoming. They let the kids pick blackberries off their bushes. Plenty of space to park.
Bogie is new to BW just like us. We are so glad that they were willing to host us. They are full of surprises. They are both so talented, and generous. I'm not sure that you'll see a cooler rig out there, than the one they have. I'm not even going to spoil it for you. If you want to stay with one of the most eclectic hosts out there, and see some of the coolest machines around, pay Bogie a visit. Not to mention they know so much about Olympia and the surrounding hidden gems to go see. We definitely hope to run into these guys again, whether on the road, or on our stop through Olympia.
