We have five tree shaded acres, part of an old pecan grove, and a nice quiet rural setting . We have seen deer, skunks, armadillo, rabbits, squirrel, and lots of birds. Our site is behind our home next to the barn. Water is available as well as 30 amp electricity.
Good paved roads to our driveway. The driveway is well-packed gravel. However, we can no longer accept Class A Motorhomes due to lack of paved parking and weight of a Class A. Can accept normal size Class A not the great big ones.
Parking is plentiful for tow vehicle on well packed gravel drive
Message to see if we are home or out RVing ourselves.

We were a last minute stay at hidden jem. The weather kicked up and we needed a spot and these awesome folks came through in spades. They met us outside, in the rain, helped guides us in and get set up. The storm had knocked out all the power in the area but we plugged in just in case. They came out and introduced their doggie Diesel and invited us to allow our dog to run off leash. This was a great visit and we are very grateful for their hospitality.
E & J are so welcoming and hospitable. The accommodations are well laid out and easy to access with proper care. It was a great night’s rest after some friendly conversation in our lawn chairs while playing fetch with “Diesel”. He’s a very social pure bred German Shepard and is sweet as can be. Unfortunately, impending weather required us to break camp early in the morning in order to stay dry while doing so. We departed about 6:30am just ahead of the storm and hope we didn’t disturb our hosts or any neighbors. It’s wonderful meeting like-minded people who are so generous with their blessings. Hope we can host them sometime at OUR PLACE and have Diesel chase some of our pesky resident squirrels away! Would loved to have stayed longer but we were on a schedule on this trip. Thanks Hidden Gem - it was wonderful to meet you.
Location is very peaceful, host and wife are very friendly, down to earth. Great location, there is fishing, hiking and mountain biking, and more. Try to slow down in your travels and enjoy the experiences more. This I have just recently discovered and made new friends in Mississippi.
Thank you very much for the wonderful experience and the crawfish (little lobster). The culture and traditions in Mississippi very interesting and positive experience. You all keep it up. Take care and I hope we cross paths some where down the road. Happy camper here!
The location is beautiful! Excellent level pad, VERY private, dark, quiet. The hosts are very hospitable. They offer electricity and water, which we didn’t need. Everything you could look for in a site! Be sure to take the Natchez Trace Parkway if it fits in your plans.
The place was great. Stayed in the backyard near the garage on flat gravel. 30 AMP and water - always a plus. It was really quiet and out in the country. Faststreak were such great hosts. Very accommodating and super helpful with places to see and food to eat.
Love Mississippi! And Eddie and Jill are the quintessential example of southern kindness and hospitality. Their property truly is a Hidden Gem - beautiful, private, cozy, and peaceful. Thank you for your generous hospitality!
Perfect for us, just off the Trace. Nice level location out back. Very accommodating host. Thanks!
Fast streak and his wife were awesome hosts. Very friendly and helpful. I was away most of the stay with work, but my wife spoke with them about camping and Alaska foe some time. The location is situated conveniently near I-24 and the Natchez Trace. They have an awesome property with a nice level pad and electric and water. There is also ample room for the dog to exercise off leash. Very quiet out here.
We cannot say enough about the amazing place hosted by equally amazing people. Our hosts were winsome and hospitable. We had a nice spot in a perfect place for us, in fact they allowed an extra day that was certainly appreciated. It is quiet, private, clean, easy to park and as a major bonus, 30 amp electric service.
Easy to get to and park. Eddie greeted us and we had a nice chat. A quiet and woodsy spot during our hurricane evacuation. Thanks for hosting us and we highly recommend this Hidden Jem!
This was our first boondocking experience and definitely set the bar high!! Faststreak are very gracious hosts and the Hidden JEM is exactly that - a southern gem. We didn't get to visit much as we had hoped because we were working/school on our full day with them. Beautiful property and easy to get in and out. Thank you for making our first experience so memorable.
Our BW ‘maiden voyage’ ... first stay on our first day of membership. We could not have found more accommodating hosts than Eddie and Jill. And Diesel! They accepted our afternoon request and were most welcoming to us and our dogs. Their property is gorgeous, complete with space for dogs to run, gorgeous pecan trees, and a level, easy access RV parking space with electricity and water readily available. We have garage-envy of Eddie’s RV barn!
Our stay was very short but we thoroughly enjoyed the time we were able to spend at this Hidden JEM. Thank you, Jill and Eddie, for your warm hospitality.
My dad and I definitely enjoyed staying here.
It was nice and quiet and had plenty of space for our dogs to play.
Faststreak was very accommodating and helped us plug into the 30 amp.
The land is gorgeous and i'd definitely recommend staying here.
This was our 2nd stay. They are great, kind-hearted people. Their setting is beautiful. Wonderful peaceful nights sleep. Also, absolutely love the area: beautiful with fun things to see and do.
This was our first Boondocker experience and SERIOUSLY....it dont get any better than this! A gorgeous property and the hosts? The bar has been set awfully high for any other host. Not only would we come back but we don’t want to leave!
I arrived very tired and they were waiting for me with a very needed bottle of cold water. They help me and check on me. I really rest and enjoy my time there.
Driving through the Mississippi delta farming area was beautiful. My host met me as I arrived and directed me to a very level spot and offered all amenities needed. Later my host and friends visited on a very large screened in porch and had a very good conversation that was not only interesting but appreciated. This was my first guest experience and has set the bar pretty high. I highly recommend.
Beautiful Property with the most welcoming hosts. It was if we were parking in our own private RV Park. The hosts sat and shared stories with us.
They are “Gems” for sure. I can’t see how anyone traveling along the Natchez Trace wouldn’t ask if they could spend the night! Hope to see them next time they travel thru Florida. Love to meet up for lunch or dinner.
Spent three relaxing days with Eddie after getting stuck in his new gravel driveway! He was great and pulled us out with ease
Beautiful and peaceful surroundings Highlight was interacting with Diesel, his new puppy. Directions back to 55 sent us on a lovely drive
Eddie and Jill are welcoming, kind, and gracious people. Their home and property are lovely and the location they place you is a very beautiful setting. They are longtime residents of Mississippi, and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with them about the history and beauty of their great state. Hope to go back and experience more of the Jackson area and learn more from Eddie and Jill.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at faststreak. Quiet place, nice conversations and would love to stay again if in the area. Thanks for the referral to rocky springs
Great spot with very friendly hosts. Had a brief visit before heading in to explore Jackson for the afternoon. Their suggestion of a dinner spot for some catfish at Cock of the Walk was a lot of fun. Thank you, Faststreak!
I can't tell you hiw excited to join BW and have had such a wonderful experience for my first stay. The temperatures were in the high 90's and I needed a place to stay that had power for the A/C. E greeted me with a cold bottle of water and then helped me back in place and hook up, as I've never really used my extension cord to run the A/C before. We figured it out and he even hooked me up to their water! What a blessing this couple was. They came out and visited with me in the camper and we enjoyed exchanging travel stories and family info. This was a perfect stop for me!
We really enjoyed our stay and conversation with E&J. A beautiful, quiet spot with 30 amp electricity which was most welcome in the heat. We would love to host them when they get to California!! E&M!! Come on out !!
The host's are very friendly and fabulously nice people. The land is very beautiful and I would highly recommend this location.
Love this place!
They are nice couple and recommend other Boondockers!!!
We couldn’t have asked for a better first time experience using Boondockers Welcome. Our hosts were quick to respond to our request to stay. They were there to help us get into our spot and set up. Beautiful gravel spot overlooking a field which had the best sunrise for Easter morning. Wish our stay would have been longer!!
Very nice and quiet site. The host communicated well with us and even though they had some bad rain in the area the site was very accessible. We only stayed one night but enjoyed our conversations with the host and really had a good night sleep. Hope to see them again.
Great quiet location. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The weather was not great so we ended up staying a few extra nights so we could do the Natchez Trace in better weather. Hosts are very familiar with the area so they can tell you about places to see and do. Thank you for the siteseeing tour. Another friend made thru boondockers. Enjoy and be safe in your travels. Your boondocker friends
Virginia and Bob
The hosts were awesome, the location is gorgeous, and the area has some great stuff to do and see. Thanks for hosting us!
Faststreak has a beautiful and large piece of land with ample room far from their house for most rigs and trailers. We had power and water for our tank. We especially enjoyed our time with them although it was short as we had to. Get back on the road for our final leg of our trip.
I would highly recommend Faststreak's boondock space!
it's asafe and very quiet place to stay. We were happy to meet Jill and Eddie. They are very frendly. We hope to see Jill and Eddie at our place in Canada. You're always welcome.
We were so happy with the first time we stayed here, we decided to do it again a year later. Fastreak met us out in the cold and wet to help us setup. Very comfortable stay through some cold weather. We also got to chat a good amount. We are not only saying that you have to come here (back) if you are in the area, we did it as well.
We arrived late and had little Time, but we we're welcomed with a warm heart by very nice folks. Highly recommanded!
Our family had the most amazing stay here in Mississippi! Beautiful location and spent most of the weekend with our hosts! Felt like we were part of their family! Not sure we could ever have a more welcoming experience than here!
Seems the miles in the south are longer than average causing us to arrive later then hoped. None the less we were met with a friendly welcome and much help setting up. We would love to have spent more time with our host but time was not on our side. See for your self the hidden jems at Faststreak. You're in for a surprise.
Most accomidating, found many things in common with this couple. Their suggestion of a great place to eat on the lake found us eating to much. We are certainly putting a favorite star next this host and the plan to return to the area.
They are good family oriented people who treat you kindly and hospitably. We would definitely stay again! They were also wonderful with our two small kids and our stay was very pleasant.
This was our first Boondockers experience and we could not have picked better hosts than Jill and Eddie! We traded tours of our campers, and had a great visit over tea and chocolate chip cookies! The parking facility was perfect, and in a great location. Jill and Judy even found they share a love of sewing and quilting! Overall, a great first-time for us. Thanks Jill and Eddie!
I'm currently staying at a Boondockers Welcome host, Hidden Jem, in Brandon, MS. The hosts, Jill and Eddie, are super nice and very welcoming. There is a prepare RV parking spot with water and even 30 amp service. I highly recommend them and will come here again given the opportunity.
We had an awesome stay with faststreak. Beautiful property and the nicest people. We we’re made to feel very welcome and very surprised to find they had both spent time very close to where we live in Ontario. Two thumbs up!
We spent a peaceful day, visiting with a lovely, generous couple. Then, spent a quiet night in rural surroundings. Will request to stay here again, when in the area.
It was a pleasure to meet Eddie and Jill! They were very welcoming and accommodating, and their large rural property is very peaceful. Thanks so much.
Our hosts called us in the morning and gave us the lay of the land, where to park and hookup. They were going to get home after we arrived, very considerate. Everything worked out fine, met these wonderful folks later and hope to visit with them again, either at our place or theirs. Beautiful rural setting!
We have enjoyed the hospitality of Jill and Eddie + the quiet and beautiful surroundings.
We lissen to the enthusiastic travel stories from each other, loked to Jill’s her quilt activities and Eddie ‘s boat + fishing gear. It was very cosy.
It was a pity that we have not had more time but we would also like to see so many of the usa. Sorry, Thanks, Robert and Nelleke
Jill and Eddie were amazing hosts, so gracious and accommodating! It was a beautiful, private spot, very quiet and pretty. Jill and Eddie weren’t just gracious hosts but wonderful people as well. Thank you so much for a great time, (and great cookies!!).
Had a great stay at the Faststreak residence. They were very gracious hosts and provided us with shelter during severe weather and a tornado warning. We arrived as strangers and left knowing two new friends. The Hidden Jem site was easy to find, private and quiet. Would not hesitate to return when in the area.
Eddie was wonderful. He let our girls run around and collect firewood and gave us a tour of his property as well as helped us park our rig and get set up with power. Just amazing!
We decided to stay outside of Jackson pretty last minute and Eddie was very kind to approve us on such short notice. The lot is beautiful and the drive there on the Natchez Trace is just spectacular. We had a really nice chat with Eddie and he showed us his new camper, in return we showed him ours. All in all, we had a very good stay. Thanks again.
This was a great overnight location. They were
very nice people. Made me feel right at home. Wish I could’ve spent more time with them but Eddie was getting over the flu so limited my time but would highly recommend them as a place to stay. They Have a nice comfortable home in the woods and a great campsite. Hope They will visit us in Abingdon when they travel to our area.
This was our very first stay at a Boondockers Welcome Host location. Unfortunately we never got to meet Jill but Eddie saw that we had everything we needed. After an early morning thunderstorm Eddie made sure we survived that ok. He mentioned points of interest around the area. Eddie set a high bar for any future Boondocker's hosts we may use. Thank you!
They were very helpful with getting us in out of the spot. They also provided us with some good old southern hospitality. I would stop here again if we are back in the area.
We were made feel welcome from start to finish. Eddie and Jill took us to dinner to try Mississippi catfish and fried pickle with cornbread, we were welcomed into their home and felt like we were part of the family. Eddie took my husband into town to have our truck fixed and Jill treated our children like they were her own. We are truly blessed to have met these wonderful new friends and will be joining them and their family for Christmas x thank you for a wonderful experience x
Our hosts were extremely helpful getting us set up, even offering a longer electrical cable for the electric hookup. We spent a couple of evenings trading travel stories with coffee on their back porch. They had great suggestions on what to see in the area. Very knowledgeable about the local and regional history. I believe we were only their third "Boondockers" guests, but it seemed like they had been doing this for years. They truly represent Southern charm and hospitality. We will definitely make plans to stay there on our way back to Alaska. Highly recommend calling the hosts before you come.
We spent our first Boondocking night on E & J's beautiful property. Our 1st time boondocking and their 1st time hosting. What an adventure! We weren't prepared with the correct length electric cord or water hose (we'd only stayed in RV Parks). Such wonderful hosts provided what we needed to be comfortable for the night! It was great having some time to get to know them and hear about their experiences on the road! Thank you for your hospitality and we're hoping our trails cross again one day. Happy trails!
