We are on a short dead-end road about 10 minutes from the town of Pictou; 20 minutes from the Prince Edward Island ferry; and about 20 minutes to New Glasgow.
We are home most weekdays and occasionally on the weekend (we do a lot of camping and weekend outings). Send us a message and we'll let you know if we have a spot available.
Pictou is the birthplace of New Scotland and quite rich in Scottish heritage. The town has an active program of activities during the summer with great beaches, hiking trails and restaurants. There is also usually something going on at the deCoste Performing Arts Centre throughout the week.
Although this was our first BU stay, I think we won't find any better hosts than these. They were very welcoming and assisted us with tips on places to visit. They have a well-cared for property which backs into a river and offered us the use of their canoe.
The couple was so interesting to talk to we could have learned so much more.
So pretty and perfect. We really owe them.
Chocolate bar may not be a big enough thank you this time.
