The Astrocat location is a 4 acre site just off of IH 10. There is considerable construction activity east of San Antonio which can cause slowdowns. Our site has water, 30amp electric (1 AC Only), and sewer available. The parking is a relatively flat area. During wet weather times you will need your backing skills as turnaround space is limited. Our newest neighbor is a CEMEX Concrete batch plant that has brought noise, lights and dust to our home............progress? Suggested Local Attractions: The Alamo, Sea World, Fiesta Texas and the San Antonio River Walk. New Braunfels, tubing on the river, drive in movie and Wurstfest. Outlet mall in San Marcos and breakfast tacos in Seguin.

House Rules

We enjoy hosting Boondockers and have had some incredible experiences with our guests. We would like our guests to understand that making all of the amenities available to our many guests has costs, so we do ask to be compensated. Compensation is negotiable but it is a required part of the Boondocker curtesy contract. Our 30 Amp. Electrical outlet cannot provide more than 30 Amps. If your rigs demand will exceed 30 Amps our full hook-up location is not suitable for you. We do have an RV dump available for an additional $10.00 fee but please limit flushing to a minimum. Liquid volume and chemicals are enemies to healthy septic systems.

Easy access off of I 10. Beautiful view and full hook ups. We were met by a very nice man name Michael who helped us get started with our spot. He also gave us a sheet that Mikki had printed up for guest with a lot of local information (very helpful). Joe came by to make sure we were comfortable and gave us a little history of the property. There is a new cement company in the distance that he said may be a little noisy, but it wasn't. We loved the place.

This was a great stay. we stayed 3 nights. Easy in and out. Quiet. The owners were not home but there were 2 men staying there that maintain the place. they were very friendly and helpful. Seguin is close by with a beautiful library and walking/biking trail. smaller town, but they had everything you need. Stop at the Burnt Bean for awesome BBQ.

He was great host. We missed his drive and he met us on the road and guided us around to get back to the drive. The driveway is easy to miss because the house number is about 50 feet back. You have to turn on the small driveway just past the cement plant.

Such a nice night! Just what we needed. Dark and quiet. The owners were lovely. Even their dog was an awesome host! Did you know Astronomer is an anagram for Moon Starer! Just happy trivia. On our favorites list now!
