10 boondocking RV campsites available on our property. Very large sites, 2 are pull through. We just finished installing water and sewer lines to sites 2 and 3. Water is available at those sites if you need to fill your tank. Our property is 12 miles from Interstate 95 near Fayetteville, NC. For more details find us on Facebook at Cedar Creek Campground at Elease.
Site 1 is a permanent site. It has full hookups but may be occupied by a permanent tennant. This site can be pull thru or back in depending on the amount of rain that fell then it may need to be back in.
Site 2 has a picnic table and fire ring. It has water and sewer hookup only. This site is pull thru.
Sites 3 has a fire ring. It has water and sewer hookup only. This site can be pull thru or back in depending on the amount of rain that fell them it may need to be back in.
Site 5 is back in site for RV’s 30 feet or shorter due to back in opening being narrow. Firering but no picnic table at this site.
Site 7 has a large open entrance for longer RV’s. It is back in as well. Fire ring but no picnic table.
Site 9 is next to the pond (pond under construction) and is back in. 30 foot or less due to narrow opening. No fire ring or picnic table at this time due to pond construction. This site can be pull thru or back in depending on the amount of rain that fell then it may need to be back in.
Site 11 is pull through for 35 foot RV or less (due to loop road tight turn). Fire ring is available but no picnic table. Sites 13 and 15 are small pull thru sites for vans and pop ups. There are no fire rings or picnic tables at these sites.
Site 6 is pull thru for 35 ft or less RV’s. It has a picnic table and fire ring. This is the first site you arrive at on the right.
Please try to arrive before nightfall. There are no street lights and it is very dark at night. Our house is not open to guests. Please be respectful of noise after 9 pm.
We have a “donation” box on the tree at site 2 (next to the trash/recycling cans). The funds are used to purchase gravel and maintain the driveway, campsite landscaping, site repairs, and water/sewer/trash disposal. Please dispose of trash and recycling in the cans located here.
We work full time and get up early so I apologize in advance if we wake you up when we are leaving.
Pets should be leashed at all times so they will not run away into the forest.
There are 2 short trails, one behind the garden which leads to the driveway entrance. The other is around a pond. The entrance is on the south side of the driveway, before the turn. You can see the red trail markers from the driveway. Ask owner for location of pond trail entrance if you have a hard time locating it.
1/4 mile gravel driveway off main paved road. No driveway, tree limb, or curve restrictions. We have a 42 foot 5th wheel that we bring in and out of the driveway. All but 2 of the sites are back in. The pull thru sites are for 35 foot or less due to a turn in the return driveway. Site 7 has a very wide opening for backing in and pulling out. It is a back in site. Sites 6 and 11 are pull thru. Sites 13 and 15 are for pop ups. Sites 2 and 3 have water, sewer, fire rings, and picnic tables. Sites 2, 3, 6, 11, 13, and 15 have fire rings. Verizon is LTE with 3 bars. If the weather has been very rainy, please use sites 2 and 3 unless you check the others out first.
The campsites are close to our house about 1/4 mile down our driveway. Tow vehicles can be parked on the site or in any empty site. Plenty of places to park.
We both work full time (teacher). We also have an RV and travel some weekends and during summer break. You are still welcome to stay. The driveway and boondocking sites are accessible whether we are home or not. We just may not be home that night to greet and get to know you. If we are leaving for an extended period of time (more than 3 days), we do shut off the water.
Please do not turn off the 20 amp breaker at site 1. It supplies power to the sewer pump.
Downtown Fayetteville is not run down like many American downtown areas. It has many shops, Art House movie theater with wine bar, Botanical Gardens, Historic Market House, Regional Theater, Airborn and Special Ops Museum, antique shops, and the Farmers Market is located at the old train depot museum parking lot. It is open in the morning on Tues, Thurs, and Sat.
There are also Lu Mill Vineyard that makes wine from the unique Muskadine and Scuppernone grapes grown in this region.
Lastly, if you can handle a 90 minute drive after you trip, take advantage of the nearby beaches.
This was an absoutly wonderful stop on our way to Florida. The hook-up was great and the land provided needed space for our kids to roam. Mike was so helpful and fun to chat with:)
We had a perfectly fantastic time here! Our host was wonderful. We were greeted upon our arrival and
instantly felt so welcomed. The property is nestled back from the road, private and peaceful to say the least!
We were given many suggestions as to what to do in the area, including a great
vineyard visit! Our host was indeed a genuinely nice person. We will definitely stay here again, hopefully without
so much rain!
What an amazing place. Sweet camping in the pines. Secluded and quiet and very dark at night.
Unfortunately I did not get to see the hosts this time. Their communication is always great though and I know they are just a phone call away if anything comes up. I hope one day to stay a little longer when time allows.
Again, highly recommended!!
Great location hidden away from the main road. Great generous hosts. Highly recommended!
Great Hosts. Excellent communications all the way through from request to departure. Wishing them the best in their future endeavors, be that on the road or at their wonderful property. Thanks again.
This was our first time as campers with Boondockers Welcome and we were quite spoiled, this location and hosts were so much more than we every expected. The setup is very camper friendly and our stay was very relaxing. Our host was very friendly and accommodating. We look forward to passing through this way again and staying in this beautiful place. Thank you to our hosts, we will highly recommend you!
This was my second stay at Quiet and Secluded in Elease and I truly marvel at how naturally beautiful and RV-friendly this place is to visit. There were several other Boondockers but with so much space and a very interesting design, I could drive my motorhome towing my car in easily. The natural landscape, the peace and quiet are so welcome between very long driving days. I really need to plan a longer trip to explore the area and have a chance to once again thank the hosts for providing this wonderful site to us Boondockers.
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful treed location. Huge thanks to M. He was very helpful and sociable, and suggested a bunch of different things for us to do in the area. If you are in the area, check them out! We will be back.
Very nice people that have gone out of their way to create an environment that is ideal for campers. I highly recommend and I hope to get an opportunity to stay there again.
Thank you both !!
This is more of a boondockers welcome campsite rather than your typical driveway. They have a lot of sites to choose from with one being electric. I chose a nice pull through and ran on my own power overnight. I met the host briefly as it was dark and raining when he got home. A very kind person and a very gracious person for setting up his property as well as he did. At night it was dead quiet except for hearing the wildlife move about in the distance. Completely pitch dark as well.
I would definitely recommend this location if you are passing through the area.
This was our 2nd time Boondocking and I think we were spoilt! The secluded location was beautiful, easy to find and to have full hookups was great. MikeinElease is a very friendly / knowledgeable host and gave us some helpful advice on our RV since we are newbies. We highly recommend staying here!
What a beautiful, peaceful place MikeinElease is. It was so needed after sleeping - or not sleeping - through Hurricane Michael’s last revenge before heading out to sea. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, sewer and water. Pine trees throughout the property. I hope to be in the area again so I can stay another time.
This was my 2nd time boondocking with my camper. The site had all the amenities and I was able to take my time and learn how to use the waste, hot water heater and the awnings. The site was perfect. You couldn't ask for better! They even had blueberries to pick between the sites! Beautiful landscape, flowers, and fruit. I felt safe and secure here by myself with my dog. Don't let the rattlesnake warning keep you away! Thank you, MikeinElease for a relaxing and perfect time!
After living MikeinElease I realized how high the bar has been set for great boondocking. From my initial arrival when I was going to park at a distant site, the host, Mike, flagged me down to guide me to a more favorable site. HIs hospitality was wonderful, and the location he has created in his park is as close to being a top RV park as you can come. I highly recommend this site, and hope my travels may lead me to MikeinElease again someday.
Mike was a wonderful and warm host, very communicative, and went out of his way for us on multiple occasions. The property is lovely. It is easily one of the most beautiful host locations we've been to, and we had a super-relaxing stay, which was just what we needed.
We highly recommend this host location, thank you MikeinElease!

The property is amazing! Quiet, out in the country, just perfect! Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to meet my hosts as they were out at the time but communication was great!! Thanks guys! I'd very much like to come by sometime when you're in town!
Very beautifull place, quiet and very clean.
Road instructions very easy to follow.
Very welcoming people. We enjoyed our stay in this secluded spot of North Carolina
Mike is a super host! Beautiful property.
This was our 2nd stay at this location. Great property with numerous sites to choose from. Host friendly and very accommodating. Convenient enough to I-95 but far enough away to not have the road noise. Highly recommend!
Perfect location for our overnight stay. Wooded and quiet, with several level parking spots. Many thanks to our generous host for sharing their bit of nature!
