We are conveniently located near Goose Creek, Summerville, Charleston, and the Francis Marion National Forest. We are 45 minutes from Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island, and Folly Beach. Suggested Local Attractions: Cypress Gardens is just down the street. Hiking is available at Old Santee Canal Park, Biggins Creek, and the Swamp Fox Passage of the Palmetto Trail (which starts from the coast and ends in the upstate). The Audubon Nature Center at Beidler National Forest is a must see as well. We previously were located in Summerside, which is the home of sweet tea and nicknamed the "Flowertown in the Pines." We still highly recommend you visiting and be sure to not miss the Farmers Market on Sat mornings, Guinness Book of World Record's Largest cup of sweet tea, Guerins Pharmacy with their still operating soda fountain, Summerville-Dorchester Museum, The Timrod Library, and Flowertown Theatre.

This allows us to be sure your spot is open and ready for you when you arrive as we sometimes need to move our own vehicles around.

Expanding our horizons Details: We enjoy camping just about anywhere and love boondocking and welcoming boondockers to our area. Our favorite trip so far has been an 18 day tour of New England. We've made great friends with some of our guests and look forward to making more. Home Town: Summerville, SC Favorite Boondocking Locations: Dog Mountain in St. Johnsbury, VT. They are not on Boondockers Welcome but they allowed us to stay overnight in their parking lot. It's like heaven on earth for dogs and their people. Skills or Expertise to Share: He is a retired auto tech so can fix just about anything. She was a tour guide in another life and wants to be one when she grows up. The teenager is an artist. The dogs are great at kisses and snuggles and the cat provides entertainment.

The hosts were great. The location was surprisingly quite. Leveling blocks required.

Traceyk73 was a great host! Moved their vehicles off the driveway for us to park our car and trailer. Was there when we arrived and provided local recommendations. Thanks for being a great host!

Friendly host. Due to tons of rain recently, we shared the driveway with the host and so needed to coordinate coming and going. Host was good with communication, though, so it wasn't an issue.
