We have one parking spot on a concrete pad at our home available. Biggest obstacle is backing up a 350 foot driveway if you are too big to turn around back at the house. We live on 2 acres in a semi-rural area close to I-275 in east Cincinnati, Ohio. We have dump facilities and 50 amp electric available, though 20 amp is more accessible. Pets welcome if kept inside or on a leash and we are notified in advance of number, type, breed. Owner should clean up after pet. No outdoor kennel, tie out, or run set up allowed.
No smoking outside the RV.
Kids can play in yard.
We do not accept compensation for utilities. Pay it forward.
Access from I275 is good condition and easy. Some low-hanging branches in driveway, so approach slowly and carefully. If you have a large trailer you may have to back up the 350 foot driveway. Upto 35foot RV's can turn around at the house.
There is room in driveway for tow vehicle.
Contact owners to discuss availability.
Cincinnati Nature Center (1 mile), Jungle Jims International Market (3 miles), Cincinnati Reds Baseball (30 min), Warbird Museum (7 miles). There is also a RV parts/repair/dealer 3 miles away if you need anything.
Got there to late. Over tired. Didn't get to visit with them much. We left early the next morning. Would definitely recommend them.
Can't say enough about this location, and our kind hosts. We had a great time exploring Cincinnati, and this was a great home base. There is a long but straight driveway you will need to back up if you are a longer travel trailer like us, but with all our boondocking in national forests it was very doable for us. Highly recommend this host site!
This was our first Boon Docker stay in 2018 and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit with the Nutters.
Lovely quiet spot and easy to get to. We had no trouble turning our 26' Safari Trek around in the driveway.
The K & K are very busy with their teenage children. However they made time to chat with us one evening and we enjoyed sharing our travel experiences. Who knows we may see them visit us is Australia one day. John spent time teaching the family to throw a boomerang - and they did very well. Thanks for having us K & K. We would recommend other travelers to stay with the Nutters.
We had a good stay at our hosts! We had family in town so spent most of our time with our family and did not get much opportunity to visit with our hosts. What time we spent with them was great! We have a lot in common and they have great travel stories and places they have visited. Good resources! We would stay here again and hope to see them in both our future travels! Thank you guys!
The Nutters are friendly and helpful hosts. They have the RV travel bug and love to talk about past and future trips. Their space is convenient to get in and out of. We would love to visit again.
We had a great time at their place, and talked a lot about different things, and of course about their eco home. Sorry for the delayed recommendation (as we took a small break, but back on the road now). Thanks again for allowing us to know about you, your travels and your home (which we like a lot). Hope to be in contact in the future when we're ready to build our home. Thank you.
Thanks for hosting us at your very interesting ECO home. Sorry it took us this long to update our email messages, but traveling with our grown up kids is exhausting specially if they feel we can do all the hiking and climbing they do.
They are gone now and we are now taking a rest in atascadero CA with the Van compass people who are installing a lift kit and heavy duty suspension upgrades so we can ride the Mexican dirt roads in comfort.
Best regards and who knows maybe someday on the road.
Thijs and Rieneke
Nice stay over on our drive South for Spring Break and on the way back.
More of a turn around than a drive through, but other than that, it is as they describe.
We stayed there one night and they were very helpful and accommodating. Long paved driveway with a small town comfort feel. It was a pleasure to meet them.
Beautiful place and great hospitality. We had everything we need. I my wife and our son had a great time. We had the great opportunity to see a Reds game.
Sorry for my english
The Nutters live at the end of a 300' driveway. We have a 23' trailer pulled by a Grand Cherokee diesel. We backed down the driveway without too much trouble as it is straight and paved. I must say it was dark and rainy at the time. At the far end is a large paved parking area. It is a very quiet area , lots of green space and parks around , wish we could have seen more of it during the day. Mr. Nutter welcomed us and we felt at home.
We stayed there one nite on our way to Florida.
The hosts were very accommodating and we would highly recommend them to all boon dockers.
A friendly family who took time from their busy schedule to talk to us and tell us about their eco home.
