Our Little Acre was very accommodating. I explained I was traveling back from AZ as a possible death of a family member back in Tn. Explained husband had to fly back and this is the first time I have towed the trailer for any length of time and I had never backed it. Had fought heavy crosswinds and head wind for 4 days. Needed a rest and be safe. They both welcomed me with open arms. Great communication an tips on how to get back to the road and where gas stations were at. Definitely would recommend them and will stop by again if in their part of town. Thank You so much for a comfortable night of rest
Scrappy was a great host. Help me get settled and provide 30 AMP and water. It's a very low cut FLAT grassy area and super easy to navigate.
I got a good nice rest. This was a stopover for me on my way to see more friends in Northern Louisiana. Hosts were super friendly, and guided me to my spot. There was plenty of space to back in easily. Thank you!
We enjoyed our stay. Great hosts. Great level camping spot with shade. Nice green grass. We were warned about the trains but they were no problem to us. We slept all night with no ac, I think the trains do not run at night. Lol.
Our arrival instructions were well laid out. Communication was excellent. From this amazing location you have a 360 degree Vista. Our hosts were amazing and took time to come visit with us. Very engaging and delightful to talk to. Please know how much we appreciated you hosting us for that evening. If I travels finds us back and lower Colorado we hope we have an opportunity to visit again. Excellent!
This was a lovely, quiet, level yard space. Easy access from the highway and good directions from the host. So appreciated the 30 amp hookup in the Texas heat. Great spot!
Our hostess was great! Met us as we drove in. This was easy to find and get hooked up. Great stay
We were a little lost and the host came out to find us on the road. Thanks so much for that. LOL The location is very easy to get into to hook up. Susan was very nice and her husband helped us to get settled. After a short talk, they asked if we needed anything and if we did, to let them know. They were very nice and we felt very comfortable being there. The sky was beautiful that night and just added to our experience.
Hosts left to go to church the next morning so were not around to say goodbye to. Before we left we took a morning stroll out on the dead-end road in front of the house, which was just lovely.
Would recommend this place to anyone. The trains did in fact sound at night and the next morning but once we fell asleep, they did not bother us.
Thanks, Scrappy, for the easy and comfortable place to spend the night.
Scrappy was wonderful and met in the street to guide me in. I arrived after dark and it was simple and easy to park: a wide open area. Scrappy offered water & electric hookups and was very kind. He warned me of occasional train horns throughout the night, but I was never bothered at all. I had the best night's sleep in a long time! Thank you Scrappy and family!
Arrive at night but no problem. Very friendly host and answer very fast. We were very happy !!
We arrived late afternoon, good conversations with Scrappy. Nice property and the set up was easy. Everything worked out great. We left early as we were excited to see our grandkids in Dallas. Highly recommended.
This is my 2nd time staying here and my hosts were just as friendly and helpful as the first time. I will definitely stay here any and energy time I come this way. Great people! Great location!
Great quiet overnight spot with water and electric if needed. Very helpful and not too far off of I-20.
I arrived late (just after 8p) after advising them in advance. They were very helpful, the parking spot was very easy to get into even for a newbie like me. They let me hook up to water and electric. Very quiet location with occasional train in the distance. Would love to stay here again!
Hosts were traveling, so we didn’t get to meet them. They were very kind to let us stay even though they weren’t home. Nice level spot in trees with water and electric. Directions were easy and exact.
These folks went out of their way to make my stay possible, even enlisting a none-resident family member to check on the electrical connection before my arrival. The space was prime: Easy to get into and plenty of room to maneuver near the electric and water connections. Very peaceful and quiet, almost no traffic on the road. Even the resident geese were quiet. Recommend them highly.
We were fleeing from the potential flooding of hurricane Barry and ended up in Texas at One Little Acre. It was a beautiful rural setting in a very quiet location. Our host made sure we had everything we needed to get a good nights rest!
