Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostHave space for small RV or truck camper, however vehicles with long overhang or much over 23' won't be able to make it up my driveway. WiFi may require sitting in the patio or by the front door, as my router doesn't extend to the parking area. While I didn’t click on pets, this is negotiable on an individual basis. There isn't a pull through, however it is possible for class B or small class C RVs to turn around or carefully back down the driveway.
No smoking on the property. Respect the privacy of other residents at the home. No loud music or noise after 9pm. Prefer to limit to couples and singles. I frequently travel and have limitations when I'm away.
Hills and steep driveway. My RV clearance information: Center of rear wheels to lowest point on rear of RV is 78" and clearance at that point is 12". To easily enter my driveway it is necessary to enter approaching from the north. If entering from the south it is necessary to proceed to the next stop sign and turn left to turn around in that cul-de-sac, and then return to my driveway. Turn around option requires care to watch roof overhang and my RV.
Legal street parking available on the side street opposite my home.
Not available when we’re traveling.
Getty Museum, Skirball Museum, Ucla, Universal City, Santa Monica & Venice beaches, Santa Monica Mtns hiking.
Really enjoyed my stay in Bel Air with my wonderful host! Despite record high temperatures most days we enjoyed lovely conversation in the shady gardens around his home and walks in the neighborhood. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone passing through LA!
The location of this Boondocker Welcome site is nestled in the hills above Los Angeles. Getting there, leaving and being there is an amazing experience. Interesting architecture, flowers, trees and plants.
Close enough to great spots in and around LA and the beach.
We enjoyed the short talk we had with our host wish we had been able to spend more time.
We would definitely stay again.
Sean has an excellent spot close to town and is very happy to host. What an inspiring life he has led and it was a joy getting to talk travel! Thanks again.
Ou host was wonderful, and met us on the driveway when we arrived. Unfortunately, the clearance at the rear of our trailer was too low to make it up his driveway, which is somewhat steep. Fortunately, we recognized this issue before any damage was done. He recommended an RV park a few miles away that we are unaware of, so that is where we ended up staying.
It was a very nice stay at Sean's courtyard. There was much space and it was very easy to find. Sean was a great host, we had nice conversations and he was very helpful. He had good hints how to get to Hollywood and how to spend a day in LA. We enjoyed it very much and looking forward to his visit in Germany.
Thank you!!
Our stay was short but Our host was very gracious! Thank you for a safe place to stay while we visited Universal Studios!
We really appreciated staying here. Sean was very kind. I enjoyed the beautiful succulent plants. It was so helpful for us to have such a nice place to stay, be able to plug in, and be able to get to the beach in less that a half hour.
We strongly recommend this host and place to visit LA.
Very helpful and friendly
Thank you very much again and
au revoir!
Another totally relaxed stay at NaRVion's house a week later. This time I came in the evening, which was no problem, since I knew exactly where to park and I usually don't need hookups. Sean and I had a nice quick chat in the morning, a bit more talk about our rigs and then I had to leave for an appointment. Hope to be back soon and for now I leave a big recommendation for NaRVion either as your guest or host, you will have a good time!
I had such a great stay at NaRVion's house! Was greeted very friendly at my arrival and after a first welcome chat invited to a longer one with a good glass of wine. NaRVion is a longtime and experienced traveler and it was fun to share some of his stories from the road and once again the proof, what a fantastic community nomads are! I am looking very forward to not only hopefully come back to his place so conveniently located in LA in the future, but also meet him on the road somewhere, since NaRVion is one of those people you are looking very much forward to chat and hang again.
Another excellent evening and night on Sean's drive.
I am a newbie to the whole RV thing and this was my first stay on BoondockersWelcome! NaRVion was very accommodating and took the time to chat with me in the driveway each night. He is much more experienced than I am and gave me some valuable advice! I'm hopeful that we cross paths again in Quartzsite or next time I am through the area!
NaRVion was a wonderful Boondocker host. He responded to our request and further emails very speedily and was very helpful with a change of date when our plans changed suddenly.
We had a safe and peaceful spot on his drive, with electric and lots of good advice about things to do and where to park in Santa Monica. Great conversation as well. Thoroughly recommended and we hope to return sometime.
We hit it off right away and had a great time chatting! I look forward to getting together again in the not so distant future. Thank you so much for letting me boondock! Hugs! Roman
Easy going, helpful, fun folks with a very convenient location to share. Free places to boondock in SoCal are few and far between. This one is a winner!
