Gate code is 4444. Don't tell the animals the code!
Park on concrete driveway or grassy area under oak trees behind the pool.
Sorry, but we can't accommodate huge Class A rigs or apartment-size fifth wheels.
Please have your own food-safe water hose. Be sure to connect to a water faucet on the house wall, not one of the irrigation faucets or hoses.
Bring your own 30-amp to 15-amp adapter for electricity. There are several outlets you can plug into using our extension cord.
We do not have a sewer hookup, but there is a state park about 1.5 miles away that will allow you to dump for a small fee.
We are gradually making our 1.5 acre place into a micro farm. We have small veggie garden, bee hives, meat rabbits, hens, ducks, a cat, and over-friendly dogs, so beware!
If the dogs (Sophie and Beowolf) jump up, simply raise your knee and they will get the message. They will lick you if you get close!
Please respect the quiet of the neighborhood. Be friendly!
Paved, 12-foot wide gate at street.
Next to rig.
We will consider same day requests if we are free. We prefer a few days notice. We can also be flexible on number of days - just let us know your plans and we will try to accommodate you!
Florida Gulf Coast University, Koreshan State Historic Site, beaches (Lovers Key is our favorite, followed by the dog beach), Everglades National Park (especially Shark Valley), kayaking, biking, hiking, professional baseball spring training (Twins, Red Sox), Everblades Hockey, shopping (Gulf Coast Town Center, Miromar Outlet Mall, Coconut Point Mall)
We came in later in the afternoon and the host were there to help us to find a nice place to set up. They took right to our boy's and didn't mind sharing the rabbit food with our 2 year old . Would certainly stop by if ever in the area.
We were taken in on short notice and invited to stay for an additional two nights which we happily did. What a treat to watch the chickens and ducks and get lots of love from the two charming dogs here. Our host keeps bees, too - a lovely couple. Thanks so much.
Very nice overnight stay while visiting Estero. Nice meeting the friendly hosts, dogs and rooster.
The animals are friendly...including Tim and Wanda. The eggs are delicious and the honey is the best!
We had a nice stay!! Thanks!!
Tim is a super friendly host who went out of his way to be sure we had everything we needed. He even brought us fresh eggs for breakfast.
Estero Micro Farm was lovely with lots of activity...watching the chickens and ducks (and playing with the dogs) was so entertaining! Parking was level, safe, and secure, and our hosts are just about the most outgoing and generous folks you will ever meet. We left with a positive experience...and some fresh eggs!
Plan to arrive early so you can enjoy the dogs, ducks, chickens, and bee’s in the hives.
A wonderful overnight ( or two).
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days staying at the microfarm. Our host was more than welcoming—we learned about bee keeping, enjoyed the ducks and chickens, played with the dogs—all in a location that made getting to the beach or to shopping a breeze. We went to the dog beach—a first for our dog—so fun! If you’re going to the Fort Myers area, this is where to boondock! See you next year, Estero Microfarm!!
Enjoyed meeting Rhonda and Tim and watching the ducks, chickens, rabbits and dogs. The hosts were very welcoming.
Who would have thunk ducks could make me laugh so hard. They sure do love their dad Tim. A girlfriend and I hooked up with our vans for an overnight and loved our tour when Tim arrived home. We enjoyed wine and laughs. It was a perfect night.... to rendezvous and we took a walk at Koreshan State Park and emptied tanks the next morn. Thanx again for taking both our vans in for the night!
Thank you for your welcome very Nice expérience for us, we give the taste yo become host. Merci vous êtes des gens chaleureux. Thanks again
We stayed at the Micro farm one night on route to St Pete. Although the owners were not home when we arrived we had no problems getting in and finding the level spot to park and were greeted warmly by their two dogs who became fast friends with ours. Their home is conveniently located not far from the highway. Light sleepers may be bothered by road noise and perhaps roosters but otherwise a perfectly comfortble and easy stay. Thanks!
Thanks to our awesome hosts for a great spot! Nicest people. 2 sweet pups on an urban mini farm!
These folks have many skills and interests (Homesteading) that were readily shared. If you want to be inspired along with enjoying the beauty that is Southwest Florida try to visit!
Thanks so much to Tim and family for such great hospitality during our stay in the Naples area. Great small family farm and parking area. Though it's a farm, it's right off the main road which is just off 95, so also very convenient.
Thanks so much!
Parking on the lawn amid ducks and chickens, (not a problem, just entertaining). Very friendly hosts and a great location just off I 75.
Great communications from host prior to our visit and very gracious hosts- Nice spot on level driveway pavement was appreciated as it rained most of the time we were there. Host provided electric and water- and we were even given some freshly collected egss from the chickens which made a wonderful meal! Would definately recommend this host.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. One of our favorite stops since we started full timing 11 months ago. Tim and Rhonda were do kind and generous. We had so much fun and learned so much. Don’t skip out on a great stay and meeting great people.
This is a great spot. They have chickens, and ducks, and rabbits, a cat, and a playful dog. We went on a beehive rescue, and the beach is just a few minutes away. Great hosts, very gracious and giving. Lots of fun.
This is such a lovely family. They could not have been more welcoming and I thoroughly enjoyed the ducks and chickens as well! Nice spot and a convenient location.
We not only made friends but family for life. Our time with Tim, Rhonda, Sophie, the chickens, the ducks, The rabbits and the bees was the best experience we have had since travelling. We were welcomed from day one had the best time learning from our new family and having lots of laughs.
This was by far the hardest place we have had to leave and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for the un-bee-lievable experience, you are the ultimate hosts and we are truly lucky that we met you!
From the minute we were greeted in the driveway, we felt "at home". Rhonda and Tim made us feel like family and we really enjoyed their company. Their mini farm, tucked in the middle of the city was such a comfortable place to spend time. To us the farm atmosphere was an added bonus. They were both very informative about so many subjects and were a pleasure to talk with. We were definitely sad to leave. Thanks so much for hosting us.
Our stay at Estero Micro farm could not have been nicer. It was fun to watch the ducks and chickens wander the property. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. They were able to accommodate us for an extra night even though they had someone else coming in.
I cannot say enough about the hospitality we received at the Estero Micro farm. We met other Boondockers there and had such a memorable evening. The hosts were gracious and great people. We look forward to coming back in the future. A perfect experience!
