Gate code is 4444. Don't tell the animals the code!
Park on concrete driveway or grassy area under oak trees behind the pool.
Sorry, but we can't accommodate huge Class A rigs or apartment-size fifth wheels.
Please have your own food-safe water hose. Be sure to connect to a water faucet on the house wall, not one of the irrigation faucets or hoses.
Bring your own 30-amp to 15-amp adapter for electricity. There are several outlets you can plug into using our extension cord.
We do not have a sewer hookup, but there is a state park about 1.5 miles away that will allow you to dump for a small fee.
We are gradually making our 1.5 acre place into a micro farm. We have small veggie garden, bee hives, meat rabbits, hens, ducks, a cat, and an over-friendly dog, so beware!
If the dog (Sophie) jumps up, simply raise your knee and she will get the message.
Please respect the quiet of the neighborhood. Be friendly!
Paved, 12-foot wide gate at street.
Next to rig.
We will consider same day requests if we are free. We prefer a few days notice. We can also be flexible on number of days - just let us know your plans and we will try to accommodate you!
Florida Gulf Coast University, Koreshan State Historic Site, beaches (Lovers Key is our favorite), Everglades National Park (especially Shark Valley), kayaking, biking, hiking, professional baseball spring training (Twins, Red Sox), Everblades Hockey, shopping (Gulf Coast Town Center, Miromar Outlet Mall, Coconut Point Mall)
Great communications from host prior to our visit and very gracious hosts- Nice spot on level driveway pavement was appreciated as it rained most of the time we were there. Host provided electric and water- and we were even given some freshly collected egss from the chickens which made a wonderful meal! Would definately recommend this host.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. One of our favorite stops since we started full timing 11 months ago. Tim and Rhonda were do kind and generous. We had so much fun and learned so much. Don’t skip out on a great stay and meeting great people.
This is a great spot. They have chickens, and ducks, and rabbits, a cat, and a playful dog. We went on a beehive rescue, and the beach is just a few minutes away. Great hosts, very gracious and giving. Lots of fun.
This is such a lovely family. They could not have been more welcoming and I thoroughly enjoyed the ducks and chickens as well! Nice spot and a convenient location.
We not only made friends but family for life. Our time with Tim, Rhonda, Sophie, the chickens, the ducks, The rabbits and the bees was the best experience we have had since travelling. We were welcomed from day one had the best time learning from our new family and having lots of laughs.
This was by far the hardest place we have had to leave and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for the un-bee-lievable experience, you are the ultimate hosts and we are truly lucky that we met you!
From the minute we were greeted in the driveway, we felt "at home". Rhonda and Tim made us feel like family and we really enjoyed their company. Their mini farm, tucked in the middle of the city was such a comfortable place to spend time. To us the farm atmosphere was an added bonus. They were both very informative about so many subjects and were a pleasure to talk with. We were definitely sad to leave. Thanks so much for hosting us.
Our stay at Estero Micro farm could not have been nicer. It was fun to watch the ducks and chickens wander the property. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. They were able to accommodate us for an extra night even though they had someone else coming in.
I cannot say enough about the hospitality we received at the Estero Micro farm. We met other Boondockers there and had such a memorable evening. The hosts were gracious and great people. We look forward to coming back in the future. A perfect experience!
