We have a concrete pad more than large enough for a class A coach and a trailer. Currently we have a electrical pole next to it to hook up 110 power and we have a 50 amp installed there also.
We are located 3 miles west of I-44 @ exit 104th street. We are also behind Will Rogers World Airport - about 10 minutes away.
Smoking, generators and small children welcome. You can leave just about anytime the next day.
Our property is gated and we will provide a temp gate code so you can come and go all you want at any hour.
Southwest 104th street is a paved two land road. Depending on the size of your RV we will tell you from which direction to enter from.
We offer a 20' wide by 100' long concrete pad so there is plenty of room for your RV, tow vehicle and or trailer.
We live and work out of "Milam Castle" so we are home most of the time. Please call in advance for availability. No availability without prior authorization.
Thunder Basketball - 15 minutes away
Remington Park - 25 minutes away
Bricktown Canal District - 15 minutes away
It is a wonderful property with plenty of room to set up and turn around, even for big rigs. The set-up area is a large concrete pad near the electrical service. The host was very responsive with communication and we were met upon arrival and were given the lay of the land. He kept watch as we backed in and straightened out and stayed with us as we set up, answering questions and providing a history of the property.
Our only hiccup was blowing our converter. We wish we read all of the property reviews prior to arrival, as we seem to be the second incident. Do not plug directly into the 30A three pronged plug! It appears that it is a 220V plug and it will cause damage to your rig. After that, using our 50A to 30A adapter, the power supply was fine, but our converter no longer worked. This happened to us on a Sunday so we couldn't buy a replacement part. We purchased a battery charger to keep the lights on and the heater fan running.
Milam Castle was a great overnight stay before our reservations elsewhere in the city began. Very easy to find and get in and out of. Our host greeted us and helped us get parked. Very friendly and helpful host! We will definitely stay here again!
We had a great host who met us at the gate of his home to escort us to the spot to park our rig. The parking spot for our fifth wheel was very large and easy to get in to to hook up. He kindly provided us with 50amp power for the night. Unfortunately at the time we arrived, he was busy with a birthday party, so after we were parked, he made his leave. The afternoon we arrive we had beautiful 71 degree weather with an expected unusually early Winter storm arriving early in the morning which brought 30-50 mph winds plus freezing rain, snow flurries and the promise of severe driving conditions. Within twenty four hours the temperatures plummeted by nearly fifty degrees! We texted our host early the next morning to ask about staying an extra night to wait out the storm and he was very accommodating to our safety needs. The morning of our departure, he arrived before we left and spent some time talking with us and showing us his lovely home and castle, which was very impressive. We highly recommend this Boondocker Host and would look forward to another stay in the future if we ever pass this way again. Thanks so much for such a great place to safely wait out a severe Winter storm!
I wish the weather had been better for our stay. We had scheduled a two night stay and turned it into a one night due to freezing rain. The host was very accommodating. He met us in driveway and helped us get parked in the rain. We didn't have an opportunity to get to know the host because of weather. They have a beautiful place! We would love to stay again if traveling through. We stayed at the end of October.
Very convenient and nice large flat cement slab to park on! Host was helpful over the phone and available for questions. Quiet. Only stayed overnight and on the road again early.
We had rain for the whole day and night but the view at your property and castle give us "sunshine".
Thanks for having us!

Had a quiet night at the castle. I was unable to plug into the 50amp service because my 50 amp cord wasn’t long enough. I found out the hard way that the 30amp outlet is 240V. I plugged in and burned out my converter. Lesson leaned to always plug in EMS surge protecter first to check power source.
The host was very friendly and helpful and told us about a local RV store where we could pickup a 50 amp extension cord.
Yes, here is a Castle and Joe opens his gates for Boondockers. What a gift. Very gracious host. They are invited to our campfire anytime.
This was my first Boondocking experience and it set the bar pretty high for any following locations. The Castle and surrounding grounds are gorgeous. The host was friendly and ready to help. He even provided 50 amp electric and shared his surge protector. The gated property felt safe and secure. I will definitely look them up on my next trip through this area.
The Milam Castle property is beautiful! The host was very responsive and went above and beyond! We used his 50 amp hookup since it was 90 degrees while we were there. Shortly after we arrived, he took my kids and I over to his pool and splash pad, and told us we were more than welcome to use it. My kids had a BLAST. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
This was the perfect stay for our first Boondockers Welcome experience. Joe responded right away, made us welcome, showed us to our parking spot, helped us hook up to electricity, visited with us for a bit and then let us do our thing. An interesting and unique place to stay. It was quiet and we felt safe and welcome.
Second stay on gorgeous property. If you are near here do yourself a favor and stay!
Great place and gracious host. Thank you for allowing us to overnight at your "Castle" and sharing your stories with us. We felt like "Royalty"
The property is stunning; as fellow RVers they set it up to allow a stay with class! Be sure to talk with them and find out all about it!
Thank you, Joe, for letting us overnight at your beautiful events center/home! The concrete pad is huge, and the 50amp service was extremely welcome on this hot Oklahoma day. He even came back to kill the wasps around the service box! Be sure to bring your own 50a to 30a converter if your rig uses a 30a plug.
We rate this a "10"!
Stayed one night in June 2019.
Directions were very clear, the host met us at the gate and assisted with getting parked. BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL place, and we enjoyed walking the grounds. Will be our overnight stay again when we are traveling through!!
If this isn’t the most beautiful setting in the Boondockers Welcome system, I would be surprised. The owners are most gracious to allow use of this amazing property. If I’m ever in the Oklahoma City area I hope to have a chance to do it again.
Joe has a beautiful property that he generously shares. He greeted us warmly and allowed us to borrow the correct adapter for hook-ups. Easy access of Rt. 44.
The RV pad was perfect spot for us and our 2 dogs. We weren't sure what to expect since this was our first time booking the spot. But it was such a welcome sight! Our host was quick to respond to texts upon arrival. The entrance is gorgeous and castle home is fun to view from our rig. The dogs loved playing on the huge lawn. We enjoyed staying and would certainly return!
Once in a lifetime experience! Joe and his wife have created a fantasy escape that they get to live in everyday. Truly a man who has had success in manufacturing to allow the quality and detail that he put into his business to reflect in his dream home. If you ever get the opportunity to stop and are invited to tour the house, don't miss this opportunity. Actually, I don't think it will be a once in a lifetime opportunity for us because if we're ever in Oklahoma City again, we will make sure to reach out to Milam Castle to enjoy their hospitality.
We stayed for two nights at Milam Castle on our way through West. Joe met us on arrival and helped get us situated. The outside spot is flat, shady and quiet. We were lucky enough to have a tour of the beautiful home and they even very kindly let us shelter our RV inside the garage overnight to wait out a hail storm. Highly recommend for a quirky and magical spot in Oklahoma City!
He met us as we arrived and helped us set up. We felt very welcome and appreciated the hospitality we received. If we are anywhere close to OKC again, we will try to stop back!! Beautiful location!!!!
We had a great one night stay. The "castle" is amazing but unfortunately we were not able to accept an inside tour. Highly recommend!
We had 2 peaceful nights just 20 minutes from Bricktown and the OKC Memorial & Museum. A definite visit when you’re in the area - wow!
The RV spot is great, w/50 amp - always a treat for boondockers. And having a castle outside your door is wonderful.
Thank you 💕
Although I didn’t get to spend much time with my hosts, I was welcomed and helped setting up with total dedication! Thanks for everything!
Great level spot on a large concrete pad.
Got a tour of their place and it was almost as incredible as their life story. Our dog loved the big fenced yard too.
What a great location and view for our overnight stay! Easy to find, easy to maneuver, a nice concrete pad with a 50Amp hookup. Gracious hosts with a beautiful home. Thanks again.
This was my first Experience with Boondockerswelcome. com . They spoiled me rotten. Real nice folks with a very nice home. They have a 20 x 100ft. concrete pad with 50 amp hook ups. Super quiet and safe . They have a gate and many security cameras. and if you're good you might get a ride in the golf cart. :) I'd definitely recommend this spot and would stay again.
What a spectacular stop. Our host, Joe, was very welcoming. Wonderful concrete pad with 50 amp service. The property is beautiful. Would definitely stay again!
Milam Castle is a fantastic place to stay and an experience not to be missed. Host is very friendly and gave us a tour of his home in the castle. Location to park our RV was perfect: concrete pad with 50 amp service. Plenty of room to turn around in lot. Thanks so much for your hospitality.

Although we didn't get the opportunity to meet Joe and his wife due to our late arrival and early departure, they sent us detailed instructions for parking and plugging in during our short stay and were very friendly and prompt in all communications regarding our visit. We had a wonderful night's sleep on their gorgeous and quiet property. We hope to visit again!
We really enjoyed our stay at Milam castle. The hosts were very accommodating and generous toward our stay. Truly an inspiration for staying imaginative and community-minded.
We so appreciated being able to stay the night at Milan Castle, especially on such short notice!
Our host was very gracious and accommodating!
A quiet, lovely home! Thanks so much!
As soon as we pulled up to the property, we knew we were in for a real treat. This property is majestic and perfectly equipped for an overnight RV guest. The hosts were generous with their time, and were happy to show us around.
Though the weather was cold and snowy, we enjoyed looking out of our RV windows at this gorgeous property. We would definitely stay here again. It's convenient to anything you might need while you're in town.
This is one of a kind. Level pad with a 50 amp plug, lots of room to turn around when you leave and easy access off and on the highway. The hosts were wonderful and the house is a hoot. You don't want to miss this one if it's on your route.
It is difficult to express the feelings created by visiting Milam Castle. We could imagine being friends for life with the owners. Their generous hosting of boondockers is incredible, but can hardly be compared to what they do for their community. We only hope they will be part of our travels in the future.
They were kind enough to let us stay even though they weren’t available to greet us. Easy to find on roads with no low hanging branches, this host has an immaculate property with a large pad for parking, plenty of area to get even a large rig turned around, and even offered a 50a service. (We are just a small truck Camper, so didn’t need it, but it’s lovely that it is available for others). Their home is one of a kind, and makes for a very interesting place to boondock when you have small children. “Mom! We are staying next to a castle!”
Joe was an amazing host! He helped us out with extention cord and dogbone for his 50amp service. His property is quiet and peaceful. His castle is amazing, perfect concrete pad to park our rig for two nights. If your in the area this host is highly recommended! Five Stars!!! Two Thumbs up!!!!
He was an amazing host! Very welcoming. Can't say enough good about the stay. There house is a must see, one of a kind. Huge yard for dogs or children. Even seen a deer. Easy to get to , lots of space to turn around. Any size rig will fit.
We stayed two nights at the castle. Mr. Joe (as our kids called him) gave us a full tour of the castle inside and out. It’s our dream home x100. Unbelievable really. But, the best part of the stop were the very kind and hospitable hosts.
RV spot, power etc was great. We all had a blast! THANK YOU!
This was our first experience with Boondockers Welcome and what an experience it was. Milam Castle is unbelievably beautiful and relaxing. Our host was very gracious and friendly. If you’re going anywhere near Oklahoma City this is the place to stay. It’s not far from any attractions and if you just want to rest and use the pool, it’s all yours to enjoy.
We have nothing but good things to say about the hosts. First, we had a coach problem further east and could not make it to OKC on our scheduled date. A quick call to explained our situation and we were able to change the date to the next day, July 4th with no issue at all. It is such an amazing property and home. We were fortunate to get a tour of the house and it was spectacular to say the least. They are some of most generous people we have have ever met and we hope to be back if we ever go back through OKC. And the bonus neighborhood firework show was a treat for the kids, well done!
We stayed two nights at Milam Castle as we passed through Oklahoma City. Our host was great and gave us a tour of his home. The place is amazing and beautiful. It truly is an experience. Joe takes great pride in his amazing home and we loved hearing all about it. The parking pad was level and we had 50amp hookup. The electric was wonderful considering we stayed in the heat of the summer. You won't be disappointed if you stay here. We would travel here just to stay at the Castle again.
Beautiful property, gracious hosts. Great place to park our 40-foot 5th wheel while still attached to our truck.
Had a great stay for 2 nights. Wonderful hosts and a beautiful acreage. I would say it was more of an experience than a place to stay!
This is an amazing place with amazing people. We enjoyed our stay with these very generous people a lot. Like an other person commented you will have to hear their story yourself. Very generous and special people!
This host welcomed us and made us feel like royalty...With a tour and explanation of his home castle we felt it very noble of him to do what he does. You will be pleasantly surprised to know this family is so charitable to their community. Their home and property is ever changing and gorgeous! We would stay here again if invited and may even bring our daughter back for her wedding...it's just that beautiful. We are so grateful to have found this lovely site for the night. It's even pretty in the dark. I would recommend them to anyone!
Great response time, nice pad to park on, very friendly and helpful. Thank you
Our first BDW experience and Milam Castle was far more than we expected! It does a heart good to meet genuinely kind people. He welcomed us at the gate to guide us to the pad where we parked and hooked up to 50 amp service. We were prepared to boondock but hooking up to electrical service was sure nice. We received a tour of the Castle and...wow, just wow! The location was quite, convenient, and close to shopping. We highly recommend Milam Castle and hope to stop by again some day!
Milam Castle were very friendly and accommodating. Joe gave us a tour of this incredibly designed Castle which is their home and a venue for weddings, proms and parties that they actually give to the community at no charge! It is spectacular and if you stay here, you'll know what we mean! Would love to stop again if we are in the Oklahoma City area.
We didn't know what to expect...but boy, were we pleasantly surprised! Joe greeted us warmly and gave us a complete tour of his home, that doubles as a wonderful, free event center for weddings and other occasions.
Would highly recommend a stay here...on the grass or concrete pad. Not to be missed!

Castle is the right word for this place and these hosts are rightly proud of it. They are the most genuine, generous and giving people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. But I'll let them tell you their own story when you stay there. I wish we had more time to spend with them. The concrete pad is huge and there is power available. This is an excellent location for visiting Oklahoma city.
