A one acre property formerly an apple orchard with paved driveway and parking for two large RVs. Photos to come.
Paved driveway with room to turn around at the top. 60' from front of 3 car garage to opposing fence, I am able to turn my rig around backing up twice.

'Olypen' was an excellent host and greeted us on arrival. His location is quiet and couldn't have been better for us to explore Olympic National Park. Our kids picked blackberries in his yard and loved watching the deer. Only wish we had more time to stay and explore the area!
Excellent host with a quiet, level location in walking distance to Olympic NP visitors center. Olypen was kind enough to let us collect tons of blackberries from some of his many fruitful bushes in the backyard! We ventured to Ruby Beach, Hoh Rainforest, downtown PA, and more from this site. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again soon!
Super kind and helpful host.
Wonderful location to launch into the National Park.
Perfect for exploring Hurricane Ridge - Port Angeles visitor center for Olympic National Park right across the street. Olypen was a wonderful host. He helped me get situated and connected, and let me stay a second night, which I hadn’t requested. Plenty of room for me and an additional guest. Long hose for water. Even had visiting deer. Location was peaceful and perfect for my needs. Thanks, Olypen.
Perfect place for exploring the Olymic peninsula and Nayional Park. Nice shady, level spot. Host is perfect!
Literally steps away from the Olympic NP visitor center. One of the few dog friendly hikes in Olympic is at the visitor center. It's a short hike, but perfect for stretching pups legs before and after a long day in the car. The location made it easy to get an early start and beat the crowds, as well as being able to visit the park before the morning fog burned off, which was breathtaking. The road into the park takes you up above the clouds, so don't get discouraged if it's too foggy to see the views on your way in. Close to town with restaurants, groceries, and reasonably priced gas. Great Verizon service, I work remotely and had super fast speeds with my hotspot and didn't need to use my booster. There's a momma deer with some babies in the yard, it was fun to wake up and see the babies out my window.
Olypen was quick with communication and let me have a package shipped to his house. We went out for pizza and had great conversation, I travel solo and it was nice to have company. He helped me back into the spot and has boards already set up so I didn't need to mess with leveling blocks. Such a nice man.
You'd have a hard time finding a better spot for visiting Olympic. I'm so grateful that Olypen offers this location and that I was able to stay here.
The host was super nice and helpful. The site provided was excellent. Perfect location and proximity to all of the best spots along the Olympic Peninsula. Would definitely stay here again.
What a wonderful retreat and a beautiful place. Olypen is THE PERFECT place to stay while visiting Olympic National Park. Our host could not have been more gracious and kind. He was most welcoming when we arrived, and we quickly felt right at home.
There are so many things to see and do here. This is the best place to call home while in town sightseeing.
Last night when we got home, a black tail doe was in the yard to greet us. We did not expect for someone to be waiting up for us.
Again, a perfect location, wonderful host and a nice spot to park your rig. A big big thanks to our host for making this stop so memorable for us.
We have been full timers for a few years but this was our first time using Boondockers Welcome. Randy was very nice and greeted us on arrival. We used the electric hookup and he even helped out with other requests and recommendations. The location was perfect, right next to the visitor center and the park. If we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely stay here. Thanks for your hospitality!!
Very nice host. Great spot to stay in Port Angeles, just outside of Olympic National Forest. One spot was in his driveway, which a large motor home was using. We stayed in the front/side yard under the Apple trees. He also had water avail and I think electric as well. Thank you so much!
Olypen is a wonderful Host!
He greeted me upon my arrival & made certain that I was setup & comfortable.
He then assisted me to resolve several minor maintenance issues on my RV.
He was very informative of what Port Angeles & the Olympic National Forest has to offer.
We went out for dinner w to a nice restaurant overlooking the beautiful port.
And his location is very convenient to this incredible part of the USA.
I recommend that you drive West ~20 miles 101 to Lake Crescent which is ~12 miles long of the cleanest & bluest water that you have ever seen.
Yes, I definitely recommend a visit to Port Angeles & Olypen's Host Location.
This was a perfect spot for us to park while exploring the Olympic National park, Olypen was a great host offered us electric and water, there were deer in the yard next to our camper and the ranger station was right across the street
This is our second stay at this host location. It is definitely a favorite of ours. Love the area and love visiting with our host! An exceptional person!!
Thanks so much for your hospitality! Your place was serene and in a beautiful location. We could not have asked for a better place to stage our Olympic National Park adventures. We hope to see you again (and your dog!) next time we come through this area.
If you are going to or coming from Vancouver Island this is a perfect place to stay. Quiet, level parking and very nice host. It’s also a block from the visitors center for Olympic National Park.
We had the absolute best time at Olypen. Besides being the best host we’ve run into, Olypen is probably one of the nicest people we’ve ever met. Great spot that got both AT&T and Verizon signal. Scottie (the dog) is awesome! There is a little deer family that came out each day several times and would eat and chill just feet away from our rig. We will definitely be back here first chance we can! Couldn’t recommend this location more.
Olypen was such a lovely host. Plenty of room to navigate on his driveway and property. He graciously allows electrical hookups and has water available to top off tanks. A huge french drain for grey water if needed. He was communicative and easy to work with. A lovely human! Highly recommend!
Our host is fabulous! His location is near Olympic NP and the Ferry as well as all Port Angeles businesses. The setting is quiet. Saw deer in the yard on two occasions. But the icing on the cake is the host. So kind and helpful!!
I had an excellent time at Olypen's house and he even offered me to stay some nights longer. Very kind person and you will feel home immediately. I was offered hookups and tools in case if needed. We had some great talks and I also met his cute dog. Lots of space to park your rig and direct access to town and right next to Olympic National Park entrance and visitor center. I highly recommend this host location and hope to be back one day myself. Safe travels!
Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay! Minutes from Port Angeles and entrance to Olympic National Park. The host is very friendly and helpful and his main rule is to have fun and that we did! We will stay again when in this area. Thank you!
Olypen was the nicest guy and his location was the perfect place to stay to visit Olympic National Park. Level, safe spot on the edge of town. Nice to be away from the traffic and people, but very close to town for groceries and the harbor. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area. Loved it!
The location was great (right across form ONP Visitor's Center) but the best part was how nice Olypen was. So sweet and willing to answer any questions.
Olypen was amazingly helpful and accommodating! I had an accident in my toad and was stuck in the area while everything was worked out with my insurance company and collision repair shop. In the middle of all that, I had to fly out for a week. Olypen offered me a spot to park for the week I was gone even though he was preparing for his departure for a long trip and would be leaving home himself.
He made my unexpected challenges much easier to handle. THANKS OLYPEN! I hope to reciprocate when you find yourself in Colorado.
Olypen did so many wonderful things to make us confortable. We shared in wonderful conversations.. he gave great recommendations of things to see andwhen we had totravel east to Maine for my stepmoms funeral.. he made room for our rig. We would be glad to host Olypen. And we would stay there any time
It was nice getting to know Olypen and his dog Scotty! We ended up staying several nights and they were very welcoming! Perfect location to check out Olympic National Park too! What a beautiful place and we hope to meet again!!
He lives on a beautiful lot with plenty of grass area. Close to the visitor center and other areas of interest within the Olympic National Park, so it makes for a great home base. He was very nice and we enjoyed having happy hour each evening while the dogs played! We would love to return one day!
Visiting the Olympic Peninsula in the summer isn't that easy! But this Host made it a breeze! So friendly and generous! I recommend it highly!
We can highly recommend this boondock. Generous host and lovely setting. Saw A deer feeding on the lawn. We had a very pleasant stay.
Although Olypen is new to this hosting thing we felt immediately welcomed .
We had a great time and shared card games , restaurants and trips together and his location is just fantastic.
He is a real charmer and a very good person.
