Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostWe live in a small town on a deadend street. Site is back in only on gravel drive. Mostly level. 50 AMP electric is located on outside of building. Water fill avialable.
None at this time.
In a small town with all paved roads. Watch for low hanging trees but easily avoidable.
We are a working couple who enjoy traveling in our 31'Class C motorhome. Site is available when we are here so notify us when you would like to stay and we will let you know if site is available.
Crawfordsville is 6 miles to the north some points of interest there include Lew Wallace Study, Old Jail Museum and Carnegie Museum to name a few. Parke County Covered Bridge Festival is 30 miles southwest.
Although we were unable to arrive before dark we were warmly welcomed Enjoyed our stay and hope we'll meet again.
A wonderful couple, most friendly and enjoying their own long RV trips visiting family in far flung places. They even have a Wabash College connection so we were friends immediately! WAF!
It was a terrific stay as they host a beautiful corner of heaven in rural Indiana.
If they'll have me back, I'll enjoy visiting with them again.
A warm and friendly couple who live at the end of the dead-end street. It was easy getting into and out of. They enjoyed playing with my Labrador Retriever. We shared our RV experiences and other things. I would enjoy staying there again on my travels.
This is my second time staying with them. I always enjoy my time talking and sharing experiences from the RV life. They love my dog Harley and you’re treated with a warm welcome each time.
Hosts definitely made me feel welcome. Beautiful home in a really nice small town. Would stay there again
This recommendation is long overdue as this was my second time in two years staying at Snyder house. Not only are they wonderfully nice people but their host location is perfect for anyone looking to rest for a day or two if crossing the U.S. on Route 36 (Pony Express Highway) It is a safe, quiet location on a dead-end street. They provide 50 amp service right at the site and potable water to fill tanks if needed. There is a nice field at the end of the street if you are traveling with a dog for a short walkabout.
The parking spot is a little sloped towards the road but we were able to adjust our level accordingly. We enjoyed a cold drink and fun conversation while sitting on lawn chairs in the driveway. I will definitely stay with these fine folks if I'm lucky enough to come through this area a third time! Thank you so very much!
They were very helpful in getting us backed in and set up. They were welcoming to our kids. Excellent to have 50 amp and water available. Be aware that their driveway slopes down so if your rig has difficulty getting level in that situation like ours it may be tricky. We had issues and they were so helpful in lending us tools and helping to problem solve. Very nice quiet neighborhood.
Tami’s location was easy to find and back in to. She provided a level site and offered 50 Amp electric and water. Plenty of room for our 27 foot class A and toad.
We spoke only briefly because there was a retirement celebration scheduled but enjoyed talking with Tami. Congratulations on your retirement.
We highly recommend this location and will request again when in the area.
Safe Travels.
We were greeted as soon as we arrived. Very pleasant hosts. Helped us back in and get set up. Very accommodating and friendly. Shared a few family stories. We were on our way down south and unfortunately didn't have much time to visit. We felt at home and the evening was very quiet. Hopefully we will see each other on the road someday when y'all decide to full-time. Thank you again for hosting us!
This place is at the corner of a street, and has a beautiful short driveway to stay at (long enough to back a truck and 25 foot trailer still attached, and remain attached for the night). Very social people who were patient with the long day of travel for us. Good conversation about work and campers, and retirement planning. Mentioned the parking as back up a trailer is never an easy way to make work well, but they helped by backing it up for me. Sleeping was quiet and private with great neighbors. Definitely would stay again as they have 50A connection, and an adapter down to 30A. AT&T works really fast with our hotspot at this location, so did not need to use their WIFI that was offered. Our Verizon cellphones had maybe 3 bars so plenty of connectivity.
Snyder house was a perfect overnight stop after a day of interstate travel. Very quiet and peaceful night's sleep which is exactly what I was looking for. Very gracious and friendly hosts. I did have to use leveling blocks, but not a problem.
Didn't spend much time chatting because we were exhausted from our trip that day. But the short chatting we did made us feel welcome. We got on the road before our hosts were up so sorry we couldn't say bye.
Very quiet for a residential area. Would recommend.
You need to get off the road and this was a great stop with folks to visit as friends would
We had a great time. Stayed up way after. Bed time. Sharing stories. Great Great. fun. Was. Had. Super. Fantastic. Hosts. If ever. Close again. We will. Sure. Stop by. Even if just. To say. Hello
Fantastic hosts! We loved the pleasant conversation and sharing RV stories. They were also very sweet to our kids. If you have kids, make sure to have them look for the fairy garden. Definitely looking to spend more time here our next time through.
30 or 50 amp and water available. Quiet street (no through traffic). We were able to back in our 36 foot 5th wheel easily with a couple of spotters helping.
Snyder House Rules was a fantastic experience. Great, quiet, convenient location. Hosts super friendly, wonderful conversation. Thank you!
We had a great time visiting at the Snyder house. It’s a quiet place but we did have to use a few leveling blocks. It was a treat to use the WiFi to take care of some business. Would recommend a visit to shades State Park near by. We sure did appreciate the synders hospitality. Have fun on your trip to Alaska.
Super flexible hosts! We ended up extending our visit by an extra day because our battery failed. The two were very responsive to messages and very welcoming, even letting us know we could stay an extra before we even knew we needed to!
Highly recommend staying at Snyder Hoise because... It rules!
This was my first BW stay and I felt welcomed and safe from the time I drove down the street. Communication with these hosts is impeccable.
I loved that there was a field at the end of their dead end street where I could let my road-weery dog run. The neighbors were kind and helpful as well. The gravel driveway is wide and reasonably level. 50 amp service right out front and there is a water spigot nearby. The best part was visiting with the host, sharing travel stories and sitting in the garage like we knew each other for years! If I come back this way, I will be sure to stay again if available. These hosts are what make this service fantastic!
We needed a place to rest and this was perfect. These hosts are kind and inviting. They were communicative and flexible. We enjoyed chatting and sharing travel stories. Their site was level and fairly easy to back into. We are 53' from front of our truck to back of our trailer and we were able to fit with a little room to spare. They live in an adorable, quaint town.
Our host were wonderful people directions were very good no trouble parking was very accessible we had a good visit shared our stories of our adventures we would deffently would like to see them down the road in the future nice to meet down to earth people. Thank you from all of us
This is a great location and the hosts are delightful. Got to see the Rotary Jail House and shop some local Amish produce and cheese. Had a wonderful time talking with hosts swapping life and travel stories. There is a lot to offer in the area and they have easy hook up.
