Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostWe are on 9 wild acres in Blanco County. We have a shady but non-level pull-thru RV site with water & 30A electric hookup, sometimes park my trailer there when l'm planning on leaving again soon, but generally park mine under rain barn.
It's also possible to park on the straight/level section of drive leading to pull-thru site and still hook up to water and electricity, but no shade there. And you have to make the turn thru full hook up site to get out, or else back out.
Not really suitable for big rigs, unless you want to dry camp up close to road. That's also a possibility if you want to use slide-outs or awning.
No generators after 10pm or before 7am.
No fires of any type without in-person discussion and express permission — wildfires are a serious concern here.
No off-leash pets, except inside our 2 acre fenced yard.
No children without close parental supervision.
Paved road to caliche drive. I can maneuver my 26' vintage (so <8' wide) Airstream around the turns without much trouble, but you need to coordinate arrival with me so I can help you get parked. One section of our drive has low-hanging trees.
Lots of places to park on property
We have a somewhat irregular schedule, but send us a message to see if we have availability!
We are right in the middle of the beautiful Texas Hill Country: less than an hour from Austin, San Marcos, New Braunfels, Canyon Lake, San Antonio, Boerne, Fredericksburg, Marble Falls, and many other destinations.
This place is awesome with rainwater harvesting, a creek passing through, a vegetable garden and more..!
The host's are very friendly and welcomed us and gave us a tour of their property and they even let us harvest some asparagus from their garden.
We go early to bed, but we stayed late (10 pm) to check the sky and we saw a billion of them. Am sure we could have see a billion more if we waited longer..!
But so little time this trip, I will certainly try to return here for a bit longer stay! A perfect space for me and my van.
One of my favorite stays so far. Hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. Property was beautiful and calm. Hookups were easy and I was able to get work done during the day using their WiFi.
Had a few great conversations, and would have loved to interact more! Hope to stay here again in the future.
Thanks a lot for everything!
A lovely property with lots of beautiful vegetation. This was our first boondockers welcome site and it was great. Our host welcomed us and showed us around. Limited interaction because we are all being covid conscious.
We had a great stay at FallCreeks location. It was beautiful weather, beautiful scenery, beautiful nature surrounding us. The hosts were friendly and accommodating to us and also to our dog. We were thankful for a spot to stay while we checked out some hikes and visited Austin. The hosts were very respectful with social distancing while still being welcoming and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Thanks again!
Lynne was a great host. I meet Jay on my tour of the location! They have an absolutely beautiful place!!! It’s a don’t miss that’s gor sure! I choose this location to spend my Thanksgiving and cook my favorite dishes! Enjoyed the 30amp amd they also offered water but my tanks were already full. Beautiful setup with your own sitting area with warm evening lights to enjoy! Fresh air great views!! The WiFi is clear and uninterrupted better than the big cities! I give this host and location 5+ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ STARS Thank you!
We had a great time hanging out with our hosts. We shared birding, travel and political stories. They are friendly and generous, oh, and their place is great too!
Excellent place for an overnight. Very welcoming hosts, plenty of shade, hook-ups, and conveniently off a main road. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Thank you!
I very much enjoyed my stay at Fall creek. The property, including the house, is creative and so interesting. I enjoyed visiting with the hosts. (Mr. Host) showed me all around the property, which I found quite amazing with the garden and paths and stories of how they use and entertain at their place.
Thanks for the great experience!

We had a wonderful stay with Fall Creek. A very personable and knowledgeable hostess and host willing to share their personal philosophies and style of living. They were generous in providing local knowledge and history of the area. We were invited to stay an extra night and very glad we accepted. Next time we're in the area, we will take them up on their return invitation.
FallCreek was on our path to head west from Austin and we were made at home yet again. Lovely hosts and evening company at their tranquil home. Thank you again for hosting!
I liked the hosts and location immediately. There were lights in the trees and along the drive where I parked and a circle of chairs under the live oaks. The host met me at the gate, was welcoming and warm. I stayed an extra night and joined one of the hosts exploring the area. My best BW stay to date!
Excellent spot to be overnight or longer. Easy to find from Blanco, TX downtown area especially since the directions were perfectly detailed. Our hosts were kind, thoughtful and engaging. Their property is spacious with a few options based on your rig. We definitely enjoyed our overnight and the evening conversation as the sun went down. Mr. Cooper says to tell Luther "hello" and he also enjoy sharing Luther's fenced in space. Hope to find our way back there on our travels through Texas.
Can’t say enough about this location and our hosts. We enjoyed a friendly dinner with our hosts and their neighbors after arriving. Their location was ideal for peaceful sunsets, enjoying the night sky as well as visiting the area. No doubt we will return!
The host was away during our stay- but gave us wonderful directions and advice how to park and we were able to find the place. Everything is so nicely set up there- little chairs and table water and electricity-very thoughtfully done. I hope we will the host some other time. Thank you 😊
Our stay was absolutely amazing! The hosts were beyond gracious and generous. The property is beautiful with areas to sit and trails to walk. There are not enough stars to rate this host high enough!
Perfectly locate to discover this beautiful part of Texas. Welcoming hosts, the place is well equipped to receive Boondocker!
We visited Krause Springs, Blanco State Park and Hamilton Pool. We will keep beautiful memories of these beautiful places!
Thank you
Wonderful host in a beautiful setting in the hill country. We were treated like family, including wine and hors d’oeuvres on the porch overlooking the creek in the evening. Fresh asparagus picked from the garden for our eggs in the morning.
A big thank you to my hosts for such a lovely time complete with a warm fire, cool evenings , starry skies....and great conversation!
Fallcreek’s place is a beautiful microcosm of Texas Hill Country, and our hosts’ open-hearted, open-handed welcome was surely Texas at its best. Even Luther the dog welcomed and accommodated our Koda. Thank you friends. We couldn’t have asked for more.
Until next time!
Jay & Lynne have a lovely home and acreage and are lovely people along with their fur baby, Luther!! I had a relaxing time by their babbling brook listening to comforting doves and enjoying the sweet smelling blooms around their grounds. Didn’t want to leave and will definitely go back!! Also enjoyed Lynne’s buttercream coffee...yum! Barb
The hosts were great to talk to and charming couple. I liked the grotto effect of the trees under which the rv parked. A comfy big yard that they kindly let my dogs burn off energy in. Sweethearts really. Well located to see the central part of the hill country.
We stayed for two nights recently whilst we visited Jacob’s Well, Pedernales Falls and Hamilton Pool. The parking spot is flat, quiet, dark and secure. We were blown away by the lovely hospitality and generousity from sunset beers on the back deck one night to a property tour and many thoughtful RV travel tips the next. Highly recommend and thankyou Lynne and Jay!
We loved our spot at Jay and Lynns. We loved having them for dinner and getting to know them. They were very gracious with our whole family. The spot is really cozy as well. We also loved the quaint town of Blanco and other neighboring towns as well.
Lynne and Jay's hospitality goes beyond the norm. Lynne willingly shared her RV expertise enabling me to feel much more confident in my journey. My stay with them extended beyond my expectations and I am forever grateful for their kind consideration. I highly recommend them as Hosts.
Wonderful hosts, great, quiet beautiful location. Doesnt get any better than that!
Being here with these folks is beyond my expectations. They have embraced me with open arms and are helping me with RV challenges. My stay here has been extended. I now have an opportunity to return their gracious hospitality. Not sure when I will venture out to other opportunities.
Thank you very much for the great place. The hosts are very kind and we enjoied the stay so much. The Garden is beautyful and it is very quiet around.
We had a great stay. The evening was special. It was a pot luck party that ended watching the stars on the trampoline! We met very nice people and our host is very friendly and we enjoyed their great hospitality. Thank you so much.
A big thank you to Fall Creek in Blanco, for a beautiful spot from which to explore the Hill Country. A great visit left us with the feeling that we have friends in Texas. Thank you for your hospitality and your warm welcome.
