Thank you so much to Pat for allowing us to over night at her parking space. And for noticing that we were incorrectly setting up next door! That is where we saw the deer browsing the next morning!!
And thanks so much for keeping us up to date with the forest fire report. Much appreciated!
As well thank you for the suggestions to visit Marble Canyon and Paint Pots on our trip southward - both unique locations! We also enjoyed the gelato in Invermere!
Hopefully the fires will be out soon and everyone can relax!
Cheers
Ellen
Thanks Travelbug for your hospitality. We enjoyed your small town and will return.
This is a very quiet spot with great views and Pat is such a lovely person! They are very accommodating and helpful about the area and there is great coffee available at the nearby Cafe! I very much look forward to staying again soon!
Thanks for letting us boondock in your quiet peaceful yard with a beautiful view! We can highly recommend your place including the wonderful Viibrant Cafe almost across the street!
We are sorry to have missed you this morning, no one answered the door bell when we left but we appreciated your boondocker hospitality!
We arrived to find a very easy spot to pull into (and out of when we left). When our host got home, she greeted us warmly and told us about some natural hot springs nearby (Lassier). Our host was very accommodating and generous. We were not around much since we spent most of our time visiting Kootenay National Park. We would stay here again.
Our stay at Pat's was a very nice experience. We stayed for 2 nights. Pat is the most friendly host. The beach is not far and it is the ideal place to visit Whiteswan Lake, one of our favourite on our trip throughout west Canada. The Lussier hotspring on our way to the lake was a winner, we got there at 7am, and were not the only early birds. We would come again if we have the possibility in the future.
Pat and Glen spot was located on our way between Glacier National Park and Banff National Park. Their parking is huge. Canal Flats is a quiet village (where many people speak French like us).
Pat was very helpful and refer us a free hot spring (Lussier Hot Spring) in the White Swan State Park nearby. That is why we stayed 2 nights. They also invited us for a chat on their patio. It was a very nice evening and experience. I recommand to everyone.
Pat was EXCELLENT with communication. They had to leave before we arrived for a family engagement, but gave us all the information we needed to setup and stay.
The spot is walking distance to the town’s grocery store and close to the main highway.
I’d stay here again.
Thanks Pat!
We had a great visit of Canal Flats, great beach, and enjoyed some great fireworks for Canada Day!
So welcoming and was a wonderful host!
This was our first Boondockers stay and we really enjoyed it!
So great and easy!!
Very nice couple and very accommodating. Plenty of room for our trailer and around the corner from a grocery store. Highly recommend!
This spot was perfect location right in town. My boys enjoyed playing on the play set across the street!
Very adequate parking. Not much in town. Did find a nice little grocery store and fuel stop. Enjoyed seeing the Columbia River Source area. Again, not much there, but historical none the less.
We had a lot of space and a playground for the kids just across the street. Great host, would definitely stay again.
