Quiet rural location between Campbell River and Courtenay. A number of areas can be used for camping depending on the time of year. One dedicated site, treed and private and good for smaller rigs up to 30'. Additional seasonal sites on grass are also available but can be weather dependent. No water or power. Water and dump available in nearby (10 minutes) Provincial Park.
We don't mind brief use of generators but we live in a relatively quiet rural area and like to keep it peaceful! Well mannered dogs, cats and children are always welcome here. We live on a well and our water is subject to fluctuations in quality and volume - best to bring your own.
Drive 2 kilometres on paved rural road off Highway 19A, and then 500 metres on well-maintained gravel road. Large transport trucks access dairy farms on these roads. Our main driveway is about 100 meters long, fairly narrow and flanked by a post and rail fence on both sides. The driveway opens up near the house and there's room to back up and turn around. When in doubt park on the main road and check it out on foot first!
Tow vehicle (and rig) parking is quite flexible and most likely right next to your rig.

Parks, beaches, hiking trails, wineries, all a short drive away.
We stayed at Pergasus acres 2 nights because of a slight change of plans and it was no
Trouble at all. Trish is a very nice host and we had a nice talk and die get to know a little bit about one another. We met their friendly dog and they have a wonderful place to stay. A pity they are moving out. Thanks a lot for your hospitality. You were our first boondocking experience. Good luck for you in the exciting time to come. Rob and Marian from the Netherlands
I can't thank you enough for the kind hospitality and wonderful laughs we had while watching the humming birds and Robin attend to the babies. I just wish I could of stayed another week! (grin). I certainly hope to meet up again and stay longer. Thank you so much.
I was lucky enough to stay with them in Black Creek for two nights. I was warmly greated and felt very comfortable with them. Lots of good information too.
Thank you so much.
Wow! Where to begin...Magicbus are very friendly, generous, fun, and we immediately felt at home. They both are natives of the island and openly shared which made our time on the island a wonderful experience. Their place is beautiful and you feel like you are staying in a park. As new friends we look forward to hearing of their travels and our paths crossing again.
