We had a great stay at Brookside! The hosts were very welcoming. They brought us homemade zucchini bread, and they had many recommendations of things to do in the area. We will definitely stay again if we're in the area.
This was such a pleasant place to stay, that we returned on our trip home. Thanks again for the opportunity!
We had a short stay but our hosts were kind and gracious! We are so grateful to them
Coming from the heat in the south, it was wonderful having a shady, lovely setting for the evening and overnight. The host provided an electrical chord which was like cotton candy for our 23 foot rv! The parking spot was very flat gravel and private. The red barn, brook, apple tree with red apples provided a scenic back drop. Our first Boondockers experience was terrific! Thank you Brookside!
Our second visit - we love this quiet spot and the chance to say hi to our hosts again.. Grateful for their hospitality!
This was our 1st time using Boondockers Welcome and it couldn’t have gone any smoother. Our host were wonderful caring people. We were met at the driveway entrance and directed where to park. We were given an electric cord to hook up and invited to join them and family around the fire later that evening. We had a wonderful evening.
These are a truly wonderful caring couple. Thank you again
So nice and what fun sitting out back with lights and internet connection. Beautiful yard. Appreciate your time and energy for the evening. We had a quiet night and got our early start, just as planned. Thank you.
Brook Side is such a wonderful BW host! They are so hospitable and have such a beautiful, rustic property. We were invited over for refreshments and chat, learned of some of the places they have visited on their RV travels, and now we want to visit some of the same destinations. They have a military background and so do we, so that was another point of common interest. We requested our stay at Brook Side because we were having difficulty finding accommodations that worked well with our itinerary; so happy that we did! What a gem! If we are ever in the area and need a place to stay for a couple of nights, we would be so pleased to stay here again!
Beautiful wooded hillside home with a level "spare" driveway to park an rv in. Friendly and personable hosts - we couldn't have been happier.
We couldn’t have been happier with this beautiful brook-side location - easy to find and really peaceful. Our hosts were so gracious, and though schedules didn’t permit, we would’ve loved to spend some time getting to know them. We hope to visit again!
... and they gave us an electric hookup! So nice...
This was a short one-night stay, but the hosts couldn't have been nicer! Even though they had a lot going on the day we stayed, the husband took the time to provide power and chat with us about lots of interesting topics. We would have really enjoyed chatting around the firepit - if only the weather would have cooperated. Oh well... maybe next time!
My second visit here. This time more beautiful with Fall colors. I feel very welcome and enjoyed some good conversation Thank you again!
We enjoyed our night at Brookside. Found a level spot on the trail below their house and joined them at their fire pit for conversations about travel and places. Thanks!
Wonderful hosts...interesting an interested!
Definitely like visiting family. Delightful location! Thanks my friends!🤗
This delightfully friendly couple immediately made us feel at home. The place to park is level beside a small brook under the trees, private and very quiet. We enjoyed a wonderful conversation about the pleasures of travel and meeting new people across the country as we all sat around their fire ring in the evening. With an invitation to come again, we definitely will.
I spent two nights parked at their home which is a beautiful property. Saw wild turkeys running around the backyard. It’s next to a stream and the late colors were beautiful. We had a couple of dinners together and great conversation. Like many RVers, they are well-traveled and gave me new ideas for locations to consider. They also helped me do a partial winterization of my trailer since temps were dropping. Really enjoyed the stay.
This is great place. Nice hosts, quiet location, flat and dry. They have a beautiful home and land, near I84 but rural feeling. Highly recommend!
