Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostWe are located in the West part of Montreal island, near the Pierre Elliott Trudeau airport, in Dorval City. This is about 20-30 minutes drive from downtown Montreal. Public transporation is also a viable option.
We live in a quiet residential area, with little traffic. Please note that we do hear the planes from a distance, but nothing drastic.
Water hookup and 15 amp electricity is available. There is a free dump station within 5 miles from our location.
As an FYI, there are a couple of safe municipal parking lots in my area where longer rigs can dry camp, up to 24 hours.
Only happy campers are welcome!
There is some room for a slideout. However, I share my driveway with a good neighbor (and want to keep it this way!), so this must be kept in mind.
In the drive way, in front of RV.
Our road trips can be planned on a moments notice!
You are best to contact us in advance, when possible. We are easy going in regards to this!
Montreal is a wonderful city, with a great "joie de vivre", alot of culture and history... where you can easily find great French food as well as from many other ethnicities.
We have many excellent festivals (Jazz, Just for Laughs, Francopholies, etc) and sporting events (such as formula 1 racing).
It is a very safe city where English is widely spoken but French the main language.
We were made to feel so welcome by the little family of L-M-K-M as we were assisted down to the shopping centre to buy our Metro and Bus tickets and given all the vital information about having the best time in Montreal. We were hooked up to power and a top up with fresh water. Totally made to feel comfortable in this lovely leafy suburb and a Home Away from Home. Thanking you L-M-K-M.
L-M-K-M and his little family were very very helpful and Welcoming. He took the trouble to drive us to the Shopping centre to buy our Metro and Bus tickets into Montréal. He hook d us up to his power and helped top up our water. Lovely home away from home in a quiet leafy suburb. Thank you
The host was very friendly and give us direction for transportation to Montreal
We had some nice chats with him, although the family was very busy
The spot is quiet and safe.
Thank you

M and family were lovely, M was super accommodating, took us to the local shopping complex to help me with my roaming data issue! Gave great recommendations and directions. Genuinely lovely bloke, and would highly recommend anyone passing by to pop by and say hello! Thanks for our stay :)
M...and his family were exceptionally welcoming and provided us a terrific location to launch some of Louise's interviews with artists in Montreal. These are warm and friendly folks who are well worth a visit. Even though the quarter they live in is near the airport and train station, it is actually insulated from the noise. We had quiet, restful sleeps.
Marc and his family were great hosts. Communication was prompt. He helped us set up when we arrived. Gave us ideas on what to see in Montreal. We took public transportation and the first day that we went into the city, Marc drove us to the bus station showing us the way to and back from his home. He made our stay most enjoyable. We would definitely go back and recommend others to visit.
Warm and friendly people who live in a quiet neighbourhood. The host gave us very usefull recommandations for planning our trip to downtown Montreal. Within walking distance is the St Lawrence river; nice for an evening stroll. We used Uber to get to downtown; the ride took less then 20 minutes (not during rushour). We enjoyed our stay a lot and recommand this place for anyone who wants to explore Montreal.
Our first experience with boondockers was very good. The host (Marc) was very friendly and gave us a Iot of information about Montreal. He explained us the public transport system and brought us to the busstop. We would recommend this quiet place for visiting Montreal. Thank you and your family for being on your boondockers place.
This is a great location with ample space for my 20" classb. Very close to the city and quiet & safe spot. This really is a GEM for anyone looking to visit Montreal and surrounding area.
L-M-K-M were very inviting and friendly and offered hookups if required, would definitely stay here again.
Thanks Again!
L-M-K-M is very hospitable and welcoming!
He helped us by explaining the public transport system, and recommending places to visit.
He has a lovely home and wonderful family.
Looking forward to hosting them when they visit England! :-)
Excellent place to stay in Montreal. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk from a few restaurants and services and public transportation to Montreal. M and K (wedon't want to ruin your chance to guess their names).were very friendly and kind.
I was perfectly welcomed by a young, pleasant and accomodating family. I also benefited from a perfect and quiet location. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to visit Montreal.
