Now that I have hosted a couple of visitors, I realized that the best place for guests is a nice flat spot on the back side of my property. However, that area is not as accessible as my front yard. Until I can make some improvements, I need to limit it to smaller (30') RV's. Note that most Class A motor-homes are too wide and too tall to get back there.
Swing wide for narrow entry.
You won't need air conditioning here; we are at approximately 9700' elevation!
I have wifi, but the rv parking area is out-of range. Visitors are welcome to connect, but will need to walk within range.
Cell service is little-to-none. Don't count on it!
Park County is currently NOT under a Fire Ban. Call (719) 836-2494 for current restrictions
We are retired.
Available anytime you can catch us at home!
1 hour drive to Breckenridge or Monarch Ski area
Lots of fishing, rafting and off-road adventures nearby.

We had a great stay with Tim and Connie. There property is very nice, and you feel like you are by yourself in the woods. They took us on a jeep tour of the area. They are very knowledgeable about RVing and shared many tips with us. We would love to stay with them again.
Hosts were very kind and helpful, showing us exactly where to park. Quiet location. We spent some time comparing notes on RVs and touring each others’ rigs. Thanks to you both for your hospitality!
Our stay far exceeded our expectations. TimandConnieColorado are excellent hosts. We hope to visit again someday.
I stayed with TimandConnieColorado this past week and had a wonderful experience! It's beautiful and a great location, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating!
This was my first time "dry camping" and so I scheduled this location as a dry run. I'm glad I did as my Inverter quit working and I had a few other issues, but TimandConnie were super flexible and were able to help me out!
If you are passing through Colorado and looking for a great place to stay, and a great couple as hosts, I can't recommend this spot enough.
Such a nice experience getting to stay in a beautiful site with a mountain view right outside my door. With the high altitude, the day temperature was always very nice. So much to explore around the area with the National Forest lands so close by. Tim was so nice to show me his hobbies and he"s such a warm person to chat with and get to know!
Beautiful views and quiet surroundings. Real solitude.
Thank you!
What a fabulous stop over! Level spot overlooking Colorado mountains. Tim provided electricity & offered water plus WiFi. Verizon service DID work at this location although I took the opportunity to enjoy lovely weather & read a book!
Nice folks with a peaceful and beautiful property, big yard to park in. We were able to connect to an extension cord no problem. Tim is fun to chat with but respects your privacy too. Awesome stay for our first BW experience!
We had a great time for our first RV adventure. Tim was a great host. The place we parked had a nice mountain view, where the skies were blue and the air cool and breezy. As first time RVers, we had questions that Tim was more than willing to answer. He also provided many tips that we will use during future outings. Tim also took us on a Jeep ride through the mountains and valleys. We thoroughly enjoyed our first outing and am certainly looking for our next adventure.
