Located between Richmond and Charlottesville. Nestled in the forest of Virginia's beautiful rolling hills and minutes to several vineyards. We have a single 30Amp hookup and the best tasting water you have ever put in your mouth accessible from the driveway. If your sewage hose is 20ft or more (depending on your rig (my macerator hose can reach it)) you can dump tanks using the sewage access port on the opposite side of the house. You'll have to drive around to access. Suggested Local Attractions:Just minutes from Keswick Vineyards, Barboursville Vineyards, Jefferson Vineyards, Blenheim Vineyards, First Colony Winery, Horton Vineyards, Trump Winery and too many others to list them all. Monticello, Montpelier, UVA, the Blue Ridge Parkway. This truly is an amazingly beautiful and rich region of the country.

Location

Access Road Conditions: County maintained gravel road for 2 miles with a 500' gravel drive from the road. The road has some hills and curves but none are severe. The road is tree covered but the limbs are not low enough to cause any issue. The turn in to the drive might be difficult for some larger rigs there is a drainage ditch to either side of the driveway. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: There is plenty of room to park a tow vehicle next to your rig.

Quiet Adventurers Details: Early 50s, male and female traveling and life partners. Retired Army and Army Civilian. We have seen a lot of the world and love finding new amazing places. We love peaceful quiet locations (especially with mountain or water views, but then who doesn't). We usually bring our mountain bikes, inflatable Kayak, and Jeep Rubicon along on our travels, cause you just never know where you might find yourself. Home Town: Charlottesville, VA Favorite Boondocking Locations: We have thoroughly enjoyed each and every Boondockers Welcome host that we have had the pleasure of meeting. They are all unique and special people who share a love of the RVing lifestyle. We also love the state parks in the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests as well as Virginia Beach. Skills or Expertise to Share: Very handy with tools, always bring along a full compliment for most situations.

This is a very special place. We stayed at Hy Ho VA for 3 nights and loved the location, the wonderful hospitality, and the amenities. Access and hookup was easy. The hosts could not have been more helpful, gracious, or generous. By the way, the water was as good as they say. This may be our favorite place to stay so far and we have been to several HH sites. We will definitely return when we can.

Beautiful, well-kept, clean, quiet property with all the amenities and easy parking + very lovely hosts. It’s a short drive to local winieries and lively Charlottesville. I’ve stayed at about 20 BW and this was in the top 2.

Enjoyed meeting this wonderful couple who shared their water, electricity, and even a beer with my daughter and I. Location was easily managed with my 22 ft Rubicon in tow, tho your backup skills will be challenged as there is no pull-thru. It's a meticulously kept property, surrounded by farms, trees and quiet; my nights were quite peaceful. TU, Hy Ho Hosts!

HY HO VA beautifully locates on the edge of Virginia Wood. Chuck warmly welcomed us and guided us parking and hook-up. The electricity connection is convenient, and the water really tastes good!!! It's such a nice experience, and we wish we'll be in the area again and have chance to visit again. All best wishes.
