Sundown Farm is located 12 miles from Middlebury, Vermont, close to Lake Champlain. Level field parking with expansive views, water and electric available for a donation.
About 4 miles of good town dirt road
We will be in and out until July 1 when we expect to take off RV'ing. But you are still welcome to camp on the property and there is a sign explaining parking, water and electric. There is also a caretaker that mows the lawns and the fields are planted to corn and alfalfa and will be harvested by a local. Our niece will also be living in the house until early August.
Middlebury has lots of interesting things to do. TAM is a hiking trail around Middlebury, Lake Champlain also has many attractions. One can also hike or walk on our property or on the little used town road.
Great place to stay, very quite. We did not get to meet the owners.
Sundown Farm has a great setup for boondocking, is quick to reply and a pleasure to stay with. Bonus view too.
Sundown Farm was an amazing location in an amazing place, one of the loveliest in the country – so generous and such a pleasure talking and getting to know them, albeit too briefly. hope to see them again!
Beautiful scenery , nice people, Sundown Farm could not do enough for us. Showed us around, helped me to park in the right location. Thank you.
We only spent two nights, but the weather and the location was splendid. Not only did our host meet us upon our arrival, but he suggested some places we could visit. I would recommend this place while visiting Vermont.
