Retired Military. I build homes for Veterans in wheelchairs with the VA. Details: Older quiet couple who travels when we can. We have been RVing for a few years and am waiting to retire a second and final time so we can travel more. We have an extensive bucket list and work diligently checking off items. We sometimes travel with 2 older Yorkies, but they are always on a leash and cleaned up after. Home Town: Walnut Cove, NC Favorite Boondocking Locations: Bourbon trail KY, Walmart, Cracker Barrel, and any other quirky location I can find when I can get on the road. Skills or Expertise to Share: Jack of all, but master of none. Handy with a wrench and have friends who are VERY handy with everything needed to keep an RV on the road. I am also a budding chef so if you show up on the right night you may get a great meal.

This was our second Boondocking stay, and we wish we had time to stay longer! The site is easy to enter and exit, has level gravel for parking beside a cement pad that is ideal for setting up a small cooksite. A very tranquil setting - during a short walk with the dogs I saw a fox, two deer and some wild turkeys. We look forward to returning someday!

We stayed two nights here and couldn't have been happier. Very nice hosts who happily share a special place. Will definitely stay here again.
