A Peaceful Place

Easy access, level site excellent electric connection would recommend

Great set up beside hosts pole barn. Beautiful stand of trees to let the dogs out underneath. It was raining and we even stayed dry! Electric hook up was great and the hosts were super accommodating. Make sure to check out A Better Place Bakery and Café in the little town of Frederic. So so good!

Very accommodating host

Great communication and excellent directions and easy access, lots of space. The host met me and showed me where to park. Great space, shaded most of the day. I met the whole family with warm greetings and shared some stories. This host has created a wonderful home, I always say live like you don’t need to go on vacation! Such a great experience to spend some time with them. Marley and I enjoyed meeting their friendly dogs and believe it or not, very friendly chickens and a roster. Marley is not a chaser of other animals he loves most. The chickens came right up to him. Marley’s very friendly and I’m sure that’s a plus. The property is beautiful, well kept and a very safe comfortable location if you looking for a rest or just passing through. We elected to just rest and relax and enjoy the beautiful weather and outdoors. I enjoyed many times my host came out with her dogs and Marley got to play. They got along like old friends. It’s always a big plus when Marley has a playmate! We shared a few stories and many laughs, I felt like we’ve been friends forever. She is hilarious and it sure fills my soul with positive energy when I meet genuine and fun people like her. Her adult children are friendly and came out a few times to visit. Her husband has some projects going on and quiet the builder. Fantastic new building, he’s got some serious skills. She’s gonna love her new porch! I’m looking forward to seeing it on our next visit! Talking about chickens, they have lots of eggs for sale so if your missing fresh eggs for breakfast you’ll most likely find them here during your stay. Not many bug’s around I guess the chickens are doing great job with that! There’s a wonderful park named AuSable Park for a stroll or dog walk with a playground. Even a place to put your canoe or kayak in. There’s a nice Tractor Supply with a dog groom and wash self-serve $9.99. Host location is only a couple miles from a small town for shopping and some interesting sites to explore! Thank you so very much for a safe and restful place to stay. They live up to their host name, it really is “A Peaceful Place! It was just what I needed before heading off into the UP and across the states! Coming up east coast for the 1st time was a big trip for me so this was a perfect spot to land to reset. I look forward to staying again when I am up this way!
