We are located on the shore of Antigonish Harbour near beaches and beside a hiking trail. 5 minutes from town on a main road with spectacular views.
Paved road to gravel driveway. Hilly area so main road is winding.
Along another driveway in the property.
We are home May through November but may be off travelling in our RV or on our sailboat so check in to see if we are available.
Beaches, hiking trails, local geneology, university town, along TransCanada Highway on the way to Cape Breton.
We loved our stay here. The hosts were so helpful and kind. They shared their local knowledge and personal experience. The site worked well for us because our rig is not big. What a beautiful, peaceful place!
Thanks for a great stay.
Lovely setting atop a hill near Antigonish. Great setting, warm friendly hosts, good views, convenient parking, good connection, all in all...A GREAT BDW EXPERIENCE!
At our arrival, our hosts greeted us and invited us to join them for a glass of wine after diner. We spent an enjoyable evening in their company. They are a well-travelled couple and we had a great time listening to their travel adventures. We also shared some of our travel stories with them. Their property is located on a quiet road with a lovely view of a harbour. We had a restful night at their location. We highly recommend them as hosts!
Great location, lovely welcoming hosts and a beautiful area. Thanks for the great recommendations! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Sturner gave us a warm welcome and a couple hours of great conversation, snacks and recommendations for the area. The space was cozy and quiet. Although our stay was short we enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much Sturner!
They have a gorgeous property with an exquisite view of Mahoneys Sound from the RV parking site on the east side of their home. They were most welcoming, responding promptly to our emails. We shared our stories from our just completed 5 weeks on Newfoundland. They were very gracious hosts and would make great guests we're sure. Our sincere thanks to them for their hospitality! FYI, there is a fine hiking trail right next to their property, and another a short drive north near Cape George.
Sturner made us most welcome, with a quiet level parking space, & lots of great conversation over a shared potluck meal.
We enjoyed our time with them, & recommend them as either host or guest.
