We live in Ball Ground, Georgia which is off I575 exit 27. I have a 13' x 26' concrete pad with a 12' by 26' steel carport with 11' height clearance to park on plus a gravel area and even a grassy area. I have water and 30 amp electric and a dump available. Pull through possible, plus pull in or back in. Quiet generator, no loud ones, we have neighbors and RV pad is close to our bedroom.
My Pleasure-Way Plateau XLTS fits in my covered carport area.
Just be nice, we are easy to get along with and enjoy having visitors.
All we ask is that when you leave you clean up and dispose of any trash in our trash can.
Pets need to be on a leash for their safety.
A small donation for the hookups would be nice, especially if you use electricity.
I ask that either I or someone watch your rig if you pull through my carport to make sure it fits and your are properly aligned.
My side yard driveway is on a one way street that has two 90 degree turns. A gravel driveway leads to my concrete parking pad.
I have plenty of space to park a tow vehicle, both on gravel or even a grassy area. The parking areas are either in front or behind RV pad or about 20 feet away on grassy area.
We are home most of the time, except when traveling. Send us an email to see if we have a spot for you.
You can walk to the Burger Bus, Chef Rosario’s Italian Kitchen, Les Bon Temps Louisiana Kitchen or Frankfurt Doner & Meats. There are a couple of nice gifts shops in town. The Ball Ground Botanical Garden is an very short walk.
Bill and Debra could not have been more gracious. Bill met us at the street, directed us to park under the canopy for their new coach. We had a wonderful chat and shared excellent cake
I very much enjoyed my stay at Ball Ground. Beautiful surroundings and the hosts were especially accommodating, generous and fun to get to know. Thank you for the wonderful carrot cake. If you stay at Ball Ground take the time to walk around the area and visit the botanical garden. I would love to stay if I get back your way. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.
Even though they were not home they kindly let us stay the night. We enjoyed the small town of Ball Ground Georgia very much. The lovely women at the bakery didn't mind us spending the very rainy afternoon there playing cards while we coffeed and tried out the goodies!! Thanks again for a great stop over!
We just bought our rv a few months ago and this is our first real trip. Boondocking in Ball Ground was a perfect start. The location is just off the interstate far enough to enter a relaxed atmosphere. The area is quiet and is a great place to get your morning run/walk in. The host were real patient with me being my first time I had asked a lot of question. Great set up and niece folks plan on stopping in again! See Ya Carrol
We stayed at the location of "Boondocking in Ball Ground" and were amazed with the hospitality of the hosts. We are in a 25' class B and fit wonderfully on their level RV cement pad and high roofed open shelter next to their home. The location is near a well maintained (free) botanical garden and mere blocks from the quaint main downtown roadway. We traveled through on the July 4th long weekend and even enjoyed a masterful fireworks show by the City from our host's front porch. The next day we ate lunch at the unique Burger Bus hamburger place in town. This was a wonderful experience and we recommend this location anytime. Thank you "Boondocking in ..."
