Enjoyed a peaceful overnight stay. Host recommended visiting Lake Placid and Saranac Lake - which we will do today. Cumberland Bay State Park was also very nice. Beautiful area. Highly recommended.
Communication with Bob and Kay was perfect, indications was A++ as well. Site was easy to find and the place was clean. We arrived late on a Thursday evening and we had no issues finding a spot. The only cloud was when the roofing employees (Compagnie on the same land) arrived at 05:15 am on a Friday morning. We got waken up till they leave around 6 am. Be advice if you boondocks at BOBKAY on a week day. Beside that, everything was perfect. I went knocking on their door to say thank you before we leave, but nobody was home. SO there it is...TANK YOU for having us! We will definitely be back next year! would recommend.
BobKay have a very spacious parking area for literally any size RV. Not only is there lot's of space but we took up boondocking on the edge of the woods which offered privacy and almost the feeling like you were out in the woods.
Our situation changed before we arrived and they were very accommodating.
We were able to sit around the camp fire and enjoy great conversation and some fire roasted marshmallows. mnn mmmm
Their year's of being in the area offered a great resource for places to see and they also tipped us off on a great ice cream stop, and a great hotdog stand.
Kind, knowledgeable, and all around very good people who've lived lives full, would sum it up. If you have opportunity to meet this couple you will be blessed.
Bob and Kay were wonderful hosts for our second time ever using Boondockers! They were welcoming, and VERY accommodating......the property is huge and there are many, many options to park! They showed us around, and we were so thrilled when they invited us into town with them to celebrate National Ice Cream Day! Thank you so much!
Just spent one night passing through and were made very welcome by Bob &Kay.
They are experienced rvr's and we had a nice visit after supper exchanging a few stories about our travels. Easy access and lots of space to set up.
We were so busy with friends we didn’t get to see our hosts much but they were very nice. The area was all mowed grass and easy to access. Definitely a thumbs up.
Great location near Plattsburgh and Lake Champlain. Bob and Kay are won people with great stories of their trips and family. Highly recommended both Plattsburgh and bobkay! Thanks so very much!
Beautiful surroundings and welcoming host. Really doesn’t get any better. Excellent directions to the site with ability to level the RV. Appreciate that my dogs where welcome as well. Knowledgeable RVers who shared their experience. Great experience all around and would definitely wish to return.
You could not want a better boondocking experience than the one provided by these friendly and outgoing hosts. Beautiful surrounding, peaceful and well maintained grounds. I will definitely be back. My first boondocking experience and a great one at that.
