We are located on a paved public street which is one block long ending in a cul-de-sac. We are the last house (the only blue house on the street) on the left before the cul-de-sac begins. The cul-de-sac is large with plenty of room to circle through and back to our house.
Street parking available in front of the house.
We are retired and travel about one weekend a month and occasionally for a week to 4 weeks, otherwise we are home. Parking is available year-round.
NOTE: Our host reviews were at our previous home in Paradise, CA. We now live in Chico.
Sierra Nevada Brewery, Downtown Chico, City of Chico Bidwell Park (the 3rd largest City owned park in the US after NY's Central Park and San Francisco's Golden Gate Park), Golf Courses, Cal State University Chico, Chico History Museum, Art Museums, Feather River, Sacramento River and Lake Oroville for fishing, kayaking, and SUP, Casinos, and Lassen National Park.
Very friendly host! Wish covid wasn't happening so we could have visited some more. Really quiet and a very level parking spot.
S and K are very gracious hosts who allowed us to park in their wide flat concrete driveway with a 30 amp plug in. Peaceful quiet neighborhood. S gave us tips for when we travel to upper michigan next year. We hope to be back sometime.
Though it may not seem like it when you first arrive, Foothills Paradise was all 3 of those. We were looking for a place to stay for a night while we visited Sierra Nevada brewery in Chico and loved our hosts so much we stayed another night!
We especially enjoyed their hospitality and gracious invite to join in a community pot luck! We meet so many wonderful people there.
If you like history and fitness trails (or just strolling) there's a converted old railroad that runs for several miles turned into a beautifully restored walk path and park just steps away from this property.
We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back!
We so enjoyed our visit in Paradise. Such a gracious couple and enjoyed looking at their yard , I felt it could be fattening. A feast of colors of azaleas, large and small bushes. Loved hearing of their hobbies and adventures.
Wonderful hosts, safe and quiet street in beautiful Paradise. Responded to my request quickly and I loved their dog too!
