I am in rural Hernando County, Florida. I have the ability to handle RV's UP TO 28' long. I am near world famous Weeki Wachee Springs, Tarpon Springs, Silver Springs and only an hour from Tampa or Orlando. I have full hookup on a designated rv site. I am sorry but no Class A's or 5th wheels. The County Road can be a little noisy during the day especially on the weekend. This is a popular area for on road bikers and motorcycles. However the evenings and nighttime are more peaceful. Suggested Local Attractions: Weeki Wachee Springs, Homosassa Springs, Chinsegut Hill, May-Stringer "Haunted" House and other small places of interest. There are biking and hiking trails nearby as well. Other attractions near me are Tarpon Springs, Honeymoon Island and beaches to the South.

Location
I am 7 miles West of I-75. The site is located on 3 acres of property. There is paved access onto our property from a well maintained county road. The pad is gravel and level. There are oak trees but they should not be a problem. There is a hill that blocks the view of my drive coming from the East. Once you crest a hill, just after a Hill Blocks View sign, look to your left (South) for a Black Fence and a Lime Green Cone by the road. There will be a small wood sign with the letters BW on top of the cone. Use 25626 Powell Road for GPS purposes only (My neighbors address). Do not go down his driveway. My gate is about 100 feet West of his drive. Also, Please do not go to the Neff Lake address. I am 1 mile West of Springlake Highway on the South side of road. I suggest taking a screenshot of these directions to help you locate me. I HIGHLY Recommend that Everyone especially Travel Trailers and Class C's come in from the East. It can be a little tricky to turn in with longer rigs. There is a 12' gate to enter through. I will be happy to provide more detailed directions. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: If you have a vehicle in tow you will have to unhook it. You have to back onto the site up a slight incline. There is plenty of space so you can park next to your rig. If you need me call or text 813-727-7327.

Friendly retiree. Details: Pat passed away in August of 2020 but I will continue welcoming guests to our home. Pat and I had a long history having attended kindergarten together in New Smyrna Beach, FL where we grew up. We became a couple after our 40th high school class reunion in 2003. We got into rving about 18 years ago and tried to get on the road several times a year. It could be a few days or a few weeks. I am pet friendly and enjoy meeting new people. Pat liked reading and gardening and I like woodworking. Home Town: Pat and I both grew up in New Smyrna Beach, FL on the state's East Coast. I am a third generation Floridian and Pat had lived in Florida all but a few months. She lived for many years in Naples, FL and I in the Tampa area. We moved to Brooksville in 2009. Favorite Boondocking Locations: I travel mostly in the Southern states from Florida to Texas and North to Tennessee, Virginia, and the Carolinas. Skills or Expertise to Share: I am a handyman type and love woodworking.

Had a wonderful time. Beautiful land with nice pond and gazebo. Level spot with all utilities. Had a great evening with John while he fed the fish in pond. Definitely recommend this spot. Thank you John

lol, this is a great place! John is a very nice guy, goes out of his way to make things comfortable. He even made us corned need and cabbage because we had covid when we were there. it was st Patrick's day. I caught a bass in his catch and release pond. sadly, that's about all we did. since we were sick. I look forward to going back when we feel better.

Ive been on the road for 3 months and stayed in a variety if spots. This was hands down one if the nicest spots! Quiet, level, clean, & super nice host. John invited us (me & 2 dogs) down to the dock to feed the fish. when my young dog got there she immediately went to the cup if food and stole, spilled it and fed the fish and herself & her brother! oh my! i felt so bad but John took it in stride, got the broom and swept it off the dock. so the fish got to eat too! This spot was also only 3 miles from a Brooksville agility trial which we comoeted in all weekend. Thanks John! i will def stay here again!!

We greatly enjoyed our time here, having wonderful conversation with John, and this charming camping spot. Beautiful property which we walked about and took photos. First time at a boondocker's site where we were able to have a fire. Visited Weeki Wachee State Park, Anclote areas for biking and walking by Gulf of Mexico, and delicious dinner in Tarpon Springs. Would love to camp here again!
