Fairly level, concrete.
Generators are not needed as we have 20, 30 & 50 Amp plugs available.
Pets are welcome, with fenced yard, please clean up after them, you know the drill.
Pump out easily with septic dump next to rig, IF you don't use treatment chemicals or "disposable wipes" as we have a septic system. We also ask that you refrain from doing laundry as we are on a well and it stretches our limited resources. Please be honest...

I was warmly welcomed, given all the help I needed to back in, and then before I left, my host crawled under my old bus and fixed a leak dripping onto his beautiful driveway. He shared a lot about the area and some of his adventures. It was a wonderful stay!
We loved staying at Combi's House. We had very friendly conversations and they gave us good information on what to see. They had hookups available and plenty of space. They have a beautiful property and made us feel very welcomed!
Beautiful woodsy area!
Combi's place was absolutely perfect for us. We had access to electric and a dump station, which we very much appreciated. Would highly recommend his place for a quick stay. Thanks again!
We stayed here while passing through Durham at the beginning of our month long getaway.
We’ve stayed here before, and as always the host was exceptional.
The place is very well kept and on a quiet road. The full hookups was a definite plus.
Very welcoming and accommodating!
Well kept properly with trail in wooded
section. My stay was short but sweet!
We had a great time there! Beautiful setup with electric, water available and sewer to dump. Lots of neat brewpubs in Raleigh to visit. We went to the Tiger rescue, but you had to have tickets in advance online and they were full up for tours. Only open Fri, Sat and Sun. Definitely would be worth planning ahead of time. Again, thank you so much for your hospitality Combi and good talking to you!
We were greeted by Combi, helped with exactly the best place to park. Perfectly level concrete driveway & all utilities provided! Had some great conversations, as best we could in these limiting Covid times, and wish there had been more time to share stories & RV experiences.
Area is very close to Chapel Hill, University sites, Botanical Gardens, and just lots to see & do. We look forward to coming back for another visit! We highly recommend Combi’s House!
Very friendly guy, informed me about approaching storm which was very appreciated. Their site is very quite and peaceful and I felt very safe parking their. With all of those amenities plus full hookups and nice cement driveway to park on, their site is as good if not better than any rv park. Would highly recommend Combi's house.
Combi's house was a great place to stay. The area was nestled into a quiet wooded street. Full hookups available. The hosts were fantastic people.
Can't beat it. Welcoming hosts and a nice concrete driveway with no hills. Highly recommended.
Our host greeted us when we arrived. He instructed us where to park and hookup. We enjoyed hearing about all the places he's been and appreciated his advice on what road to take on our departure (it was a nice drive). The location was quiet and beautiful. Thank you!
Combi’s House is easy to find and back into. The site is near level and has 30/50 amp electric, water and sewer hookups.
We were welcomed by the host and made to feel at home. Our host is well traveled and has a great sense of humor. We talked for a couple hours about our adventures.
The location is a short drive to the Chapel Hill area with shopping and eating opportunities.
We will request this location again when in the area and highly recommend you do the same.
Thank you again for a lovely stay! We enjoyed chatting with the host and learning a little more about them and the area. The spot was easy to get in and out, even for our 42’ fifth wheel. We were able to use their hookups and get some work done while there. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
We had a wonderful time meeting and chatting with these friendly & gracious hosts. A special thanks for the engineering, fabrication and installation of structural reinforcement on my tow dolly. It made a huge improvement in the dolly. I would highly recommend these special hosts.
Here you will find full hookups, and lots of good stories. Always a pleasure and we will look forward to seeing you in Montana this coming January 😁😁😁
We had an enjoyable visit with our friendly host. Very interesting to chat with. Quiet spot not too far outside of quaint town center. Easy to access restaurants and other local businesses. Enjoyed a good night sleep.
I had an absolutely fantastic time staying here. The first afternoon the hosts invited me to a wonderful dinner and I had a great time. I worked quite a bit on the trip but absolutely enjoyed my time and conversations.
Fabulous spot and host. Quick overnight stay in a perfect spot with a friendly host who was ready with helpful advice. Thank you!
So grateful for this stop on our journey - while backing up is still not my strong-suit, parking was pretty easy - especially given the host's willingness to come out and help us get situated. Lovely grounds, very quiet. Grocery stores and gas close by. We enjoyed a day trip to nearby Chapel Hill. I know there is much more to see in the Research Triangle area, and if/when we're back in the area we'd love to stay at Combi's House again!
Beautiful spot with cement driveway for parking. Very level. Had water, sewer and choice of 30 or 50 amp. Our host was very friendly and helpful. First day there he invited us to a music venue for some family friendly fun. That was a nice treat! Love exposing kids to all kinds of music.
We absolutely recommend Combi for a stay. Would absolutely love to stay again if back in this area.
Thanks for the great weekend! Be safe on your travels this summer.
A 2 day planned stop turned into 4 days of fun times. Kurt and Gwyn are great hosts and even got the chance to experience water aerobics taught by Gwyn. Once again this is what Boon Dockers is all about, meeting new people that become great friends. They took the time to show us around and over shared meals talked about our travels. Thank you Kurt and Gwyn for making us feel so welcome. Looking forward to reciprocating in Oz.
We loved our stay with Kurt & Gwyn, Their home is so pretty, set in a peaceful area, near the cute little town of Pittsboro, which I loved! They were great host, so nice, and made us feel very comfortable, offering suggestions on the area, having a bombfire night, taking us to one of their favorite lunch spots, and bakery(Yum) and Curt driving Al to get a battery when ours gave out. Their RV spot was perfect, with full hookups, and we appreciated the use of their fenced in backyard for our dogs. This was our first experience with Boondockers Welcome, I believe they have set the bar high. We appreciate you guys, thanks so much!
Concrete pad, full hookups, super nice people - it just doesn’t get better than this! The only bad part was having to move on- thabks so much you guys!!
Quiet beautiful location with all possible amenities.
BDW As once again proven to be a success.
Very respectful of our privacy but still spent time with us sharing road stories and past projects.
Cant wait to go back someday.
Another day on the road, another friend found.
This was my first time with BW and day 3 of FT living. It was beyond any expectations! Kurt was so knowledgeable and helpful with many things I didn't know or understand. They also had friends in town with a 40' RV (who also helped a lot) and made it work so I could stay as well. I felt so comfortable staying and will be back when I'm around NC again. Thank you so much!
The Combi House is a new, perfect condition facility with gracious and friendly hosts. I would recommend their great hospitality and this particular BW spot to anyone traveling through the Chapel Hill / NC area.
I'm so glad we found Combi's host location on our way south! They were so accommodating (we had to delay our visit a day due to an emergency maintenance stop), had wonderful local recommendations (the American Tobacco bike trail, the Small Cafe and folk art exhibit in Pittsboro) and were perfectly delightful company and interesting conversationalists throughout our stay. We exchanged stories over the campfire and laughed til we cried. Best Boondocker hosts yet!
We had a great stay and enjoyed sharing stories with them by the campfire and are very grateful for their hospitality, including great company, water and electric - wonderful spot and hosts :)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! These hosts are super gracious, friendly, funny and smart! We would definitely stay here again!
This was such a nice stay. The location out in the country but still close to town was ideal and the hosts were incredibly nice and accommodating. They let my dogs play in their fenced in yard, which was a much needed diversion from RV living, and I was able to connect to their wifi to finish some research and travel plans. I would definitely consider staying with them again.
We had a wonderful visit and just so grateful for their hospitality
