We have 5 acres of property 2.8 miles from I-77 and a private drive for overnight dry camping only, with our permission. No facilities.
I can manuver my 42 ft 12.5 ft clearance MH to my property with ease.

... It's just too bad I never made it! HC is more than kind! Apart from a prompt reply with detailed direction and contact info, HC also pointed me to substantial fuel savings enroute. However delays put me WAY behind schedule and I ended up not arriving in NC until midnight so I caught 40 winks at the NC Welcome Center. I strongly hope we meet in the future and if HC is ever Canada bound, we would love the opportunity meet and be of assistance.
We got a prompt reply, great directions, and a friendly welcome from this wonderful couple. After some conversation they shared with us the work they do with veterans, which we found heartwarming. Lovely time, for which we are most grateful.
We were visiting relatives in their area and they were kind enough to allow us to park on their property. HC and his lovely wife were very accommodating, even when we went the wrong way (thanks to GPS hiccup). HC walked down, turned us around and guided us into the driveway. The area was great with lots of room. It was dry camp but that worked great for us. Both of these people are so very friendly. We admired their stories about their volunteerism. They are truly a terrific couple.
Harvey and Lin were great hosts and made me feel right at home. Being new with towing I really appreciated Harvey guiding me right to the camping spot. They gave me excellent tidbits of very useful information . I felt supported and encouraged that I could actually do this trip I had just started on. I so enjoyed my overnight stay with the sound of birds and insects all around and deer coming within a few yards of my trailer - a lovely, lovely overnight stop.
