We have a U shaped driveway which allows pull though parking. Once parked, you have arrived at a level piece of wilderness, surrounded by trees and open sky. You are welcome to pull up a chair by the fire pit. Leashed pets are welcome.
The roads in the surrounding area are not well marked for sharp curves and there are some road closures. They do not plow snow well, and there are steep hills. We live on a private lane, which is dirt, with a down hill slope. If snow covered, you will need 4x4 to get out, since it does not get plowed.
Please message for availability, Most days we can accommodate Boondocking year round, however, if snow covered, may the odds be ever in your favor. Feel free to message us to see what is in the works at that time.
Tourism of Frenchtown NJ, Tubing on the Delaware River, Ringing Rocks Park.
We stayed one night in this nice area and enjoyed total privacy and quiet. It’s only a short distance from Milford and Frenchtown. Good area for kayaking, biking and walking. There’s a lot to see and we’ll surely be back. The hosts were in touch and ready to answer any questions. We ate at the Bagels Near The Bridge place and had exceptional bagels. Very good place to eat. . Milford is cute and small, but slowly developing artisan foods and beer. We bought some great aged cheddar from the farm market. The bike trail connecting Milford to farther down the river is coming soon and currently stops in Frenchtown. You can ride for miles and miles. You’ll love this area as much as we did. Safe, secure and quiet.
Some of the friendliest people we've ever met! Even though we didn't have much time to visit they provided us with tons of useful information about the surrounding area and answered all of the questions we had for our other plans. The ringing rock park is very close by and we had the whole place to ourselves to explore! They also pointed us in the right direction for riding a bus out of Frenchtown, NJ (about 10 minutes away) to NYC. We caught an early bus to Port Authority in Times Square and spent the day exploring Manhattan and rode the bus back to Frenchtown with no problems.
We would absolutely visit them again if we are in the area again someday!
Had a great stay, couple was very friendly and helpful.
Site was nice and quite and had plenty of privacy. We would return again if it was on our route.
So sorry I was not feeling up to socializing grandchildren cheering they're cold and flu
