Thanks to Kathy for great conversation and guidance. She knew a great spot to exercise my dog. I was plugged in with electricity and house WiFi. Njoyed my time there very much!
We had a great one night stay at hikers haven. Talked about our trip and about our hosts very interesting. Had a little trouble with my front tire losing air, and our host told us about her friend with the auto shop 3 doors down. We went to him the next morning and he fixed us up and we were on our way very quickly and the price was right to. Realy nice place to stop in the middle of almost nowhere.
Kathy was the perfect host - very welcoming and full of information about the route I wanted to take, even giving me a couple of maps she had on hand. We enjoyed a nice chat on her front porch when I arrived (very easy to find) and shared a cup of coffee in the morning before I resumed my trip. Her dog, Maggie, is a sweetheart and my little guy enjoyed a good run around the yard with her. It was the perfect rest stop on our way to the Maritimes. Thanks Kathy!
