A great place to stop for the night, it was New Years Eve so there were fireworks in the neighborhood not the hosts fault at all! It was otherwise comfortable and safe. Had a quick chat and there’s a really nice info sheet he hands out, very useful!
So Grateful for a place to stop for an overnight. Quiet safe street parking. Great communication with us and they were so gracious to allow us to stay last minute and at this difficult time. Highly recommend. We met at hollar distance briefly and they seemed super friendly. Another wonderful boondockers welcome experience!
We had such a nice stay at mid-town stop! Our hosts were so gracious and helpful. From offering the use of their fenced-in yard for our canine companion, to allowing use of their excellent wi-fi connection, to providing information on local parks to even helping us get our mail sent, they were so helpful with our every need and wish. Mrs. Gandalf42 even offered to fix us lunch!
We enjoyed visiting with the family in the beautiful, shady backyard where we could view lots of wildlife. The neighborhood was VERY quiet. The sunflowers were in bloom outside our rig and we got to watch goldfinches from just inches away. We also liked hearing more about our hosts' RV adventures. It was great to connect with some other Class B enthusiasts who enjoy freestyle, relaxed travel!
These are such kind helpful people, we highly recommend this BW stop if you're in town. We hope to return again in the future.
Mike warmly welcomed me and helped me park in the spot on the cul de sac in front of his house. It was long enough for my 25' rig, but not quite level.
We sat in his back yard while my dog ran around. Mike's wife offered beverages and was welcoming, too.
Mike even ran a power cord out for me and researched rv repair places to help with a problem I was having with my towing set-up!
I ended up being invited to park at my niece's, so just stayed part of the day and evening. I recommend Mike's in Ft. Collins.
