Location
Access Road Conditions: Paved public road, fully navigable with judicious use of full road width; little traffic, so not a problem. Laneway is smooth gravel 8% grade uphill for 60 yards to upper camping locations. Lower camping locations are not a problem. Short rigs, such as Class B or small Class C can use upper or lower parking locations. All tow vehicle / trailer combos will have to back in to a space to turn around whether in upper or lower areas. Trees have been trimmed for 13'-6" vertical clearance. I have no problem with my 5th wheel + truck at 49 feet overall in the upper camping area. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: With the rig. No need to un-hitch unless you wish to. Lots of gently inclined spaces for tow vehicles; fewer level spaces for trailers and motorhomes.

This was a return visit to John and Jan. We met as strangers but have become dear friends. Communication is clear and the site is outstanding. We did have a bit of a tangle with the Canadian Shield on the driveway which was due to a low jack and not following the big wide turn near the top of the driveway. John and his expertise had our jack straightened and it is good as new. We enjoyed our conversations with the whole family and look forward to visiting with them again. These hosts are so welcoming and the site is beautiful.

Really nice location with power and water fill up. John & Jan were gracious hosts who made us feel welcomed. The crushed stone top part of their driveway was clean and level, making our stay that much easier.

We had the pleasure of being guests of John and Jan on the September long weekend. We were traveling with two other HH/BW members and they were able to accommodate us no problem. John and Jan greeted us and were extremely helpful getting us parked and settled in. Their property is quite hilly and features beautiful exposed rock from the Canadian Shield. The parking area/driveway where we parked was gravel and level. John is very knowledgable and handy and was able to help me with an electrical issue I was having with my RV, which I truly appreciated. We stayed a total of three nights and spent the days exploring the Ottawa region. John and Jan are awesome hosts. We highly recommend staying here.

We stayed for 4 nights at John and Jan's beautiful location. This was our first venture into Canada with our motorhome. The spot is very easy to access, even with our 42' class A. There is a lot to do in the area, we enjoyed bike riding on the nearby Rails to Trails path, and visiting Fulton's Sugar Bush and Maple Shop is a must. Canada's capital city, Ottawa, is about an hour away, and we spent the day exploring the city. The spot we had is gravel and very level, with a 50-amp hookup. Water is available if needed. We highly recommend John and Jan's place for visiting the beautiful area.

This spot was so peaceful, a doe and fawn walked by. lots of parking and hosts were fabulous. Offered water and power however we didn't need either. Loved exploring the small communities in the area
