We are empty nesters, back road travelers Details: We, Troy and Sylvia are easy going couple. We enjoy laughter, socializing and new adventures. We like the luxury of the campgrounds but we are no strangers to Walmart parking lots. We would love to travel seven continents before we kick the bucket. Haha.( we're short four :)) We are more of spontaneous travels then planners. We like card games, like euchre, rummy, lately phase 10 :) Sylvia enjoys hiking and photography while Troy's fishing for hours. Home Town: Ariss, On

My stay at this property was good, I'm not complaining, the hosts were very good about communicating to me in advance they wouldn't be there to meet or greet me, and I was fine with that, no problem. What I didn't expect, as that's one of the criteria I put in my search filter, was how small the parking space is. It says they can take 45 feet, and my minibus is just under 24 feet, and I COULD park in the spot, but was sticking out so that if anyone else would park there (I believe their daughter came to the house at one point), then I felt like I was blocking her. I discovered the trail behind their home (not by walking across their lawn, I would never do that uninvited!) and walked my little dog there enjoying the peace and quiet. Great location with a lot of interesting places to explore in the area. I would recommend this property and Hosts, but not if you have a rig larger than 24 feet in length.

Troy and Sylvia were very friendly and accommodating. Their location was ideal for my short visit to Guelph.

Troy is so nice. its our first true bootdocker time. We had a little bit nervous. But once we arrived and talked to Troy. we got so welcomed. Troy was more than happy to help us and happy to answer every detail. Even our friends got help too. The parking lot are level, big and have private. The yard is very big. Our dog and cat got free to go. they were very happy too. There is a trail towards Lake Huron beside his yard. Yes, next time we will bring our bike. Thanks Troy. We hope to come again.
