25 foot driveway or you can park alongside the road. It is fairly quiet and there is an outlet to plug in for the lights. I would prefer my electric be used responsibly instead of a generator. It's just a driveway but I welcome you to walk around the other side of the house and sit down by the river and enjoy the view. This is a working hobby farm. Your pet is welcome to be present in your camper on the property but please walk them up the road on leashes and pick up after them. Suggested Local Attractions:Portland Saco river White Mountains

Northeast traveler Details: I enjoy meeting new people and enjoy being a part of a network of hosts and travelers on this site. I have hosted a few of folks and would enjoy hosting more. I have been able to take some time and boondock in Maine. It has been fun! For some reason I have missed a couple of emails from people wishing to boondock...don't give up ...try again if you don't hear from me. Perhaps the emails are getting waylaid in the junk mail? Home Town: It is 30 min from Portland, the ocean, the mountains and ski areas. A short driveway and close to the river Favorite Boondocking Locations: I love to be close enough to water so I can hear it! Rural areas are my favorite

Super kind host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Love the view of the water, quiet night sleep, yard to play in. Even had an outdoor shower which was lovely. Thank you for your kindness, we loved our stay.

Fantastic stopover with a lovely, generous host. Great facilities, even an outdoor shower (although we didn’t use it) and close enough to walk down to the river side and enjoy the views. We were also treated to warm scones in the morning which were delicious.

We stayed here two nights, our second visit in two years. It was quiet and we enjoyed the sound of the river.
